Hi @gumbokins ! A bit late but managed to remember to take a photo of how our laundry works with the awning today. (I took a photo of when the awning isn't up but somehow my phone didn't keep it??) That's 5 poles of laundry and the awning covering them. There's enough clearance for the awning to clear the laundry, no issues. The only thing is we can't open that side of our balcony doors when we have hung up the laundry (if they were closed in the beginning, likewise we could have opened them first but then after that we can't close till we take the laundry down). So far the brackets are holding up fine! We don't dare to try with blankets or bedsheets etc but clothes are okay!

Pendant lights with lights off. The rest of the room is being lit by the other set of pendant lights (this was last night so no external lighting). For good measure, this is what my pendant lights look like when switched on (the other side of the room), although I made the photo a little under-exposed otherwise all you see are just flares of light. But it's quite pleasant and soft lighting. We usually only switch on one set of lights. Thinking of actually switching out the bulbs on one set to yellow lights so we can have yellow or white light depending on which set we switch on.

What you mean by layers?

Used the HCL89 from http://hcl89.byethost10.com before, really top notch product, managed to remove all dirty debris from my tiles after the renovation of my new flat, recommended if you want a cheaper solution to acid wash
