mosquitoes problem. Complained via NEA website. 2 days later, phone call came to tell me they found a mosquitoe breeding site downstairs + they will do fogging. Lighting. I actually don't give a s.h.i.t abt LG is a newer estate therefore has lesser conservancy fee reserve for them to burn. Poor lighting outside my house is definitely a no-no. Delaying the lighting is just creating a condusive situation, waiting for robbery, flashers or accidents to happen.

yes the corridor lighting is time based, at abt 6:45pm. Only can't understand that we're paying the same conservancey fee as other blocks, why they switch on later than others. Plus, our blocks are already energy saving, lights are dimed in staircase and carparks after midnite.

has anyone complained abt the corridor lighting timing being too late? Looks like they set it as 6:45pm. Looking at other blocks, ours are probably the last to get lighted up. It's so dark that can't even see the keyhole.

tiles won't pop unless u do it improperly. e.g hollow, didn't soak the tiles b4 laying them. there are chemical additives that u can add to the cement to strength the bonding. E.g those white liquid u see in big plastic containers. but normally that is used for flooring, not wall tiles.

actually it's possible to spray into the socket. Dismantle it, open it up, spray, close it back. goto ECTC website, send in a web complain, they'll usually react within the next 1-2 days. actually not true. As I said, shower screen can do anytime without much hassle at all. It can be done in a few hours time. If you let contractor do, they'll add in own profit margin coz they also sub out to shower screen contractor to do (who run errants for you for FOC?). Even if the price remained the same, the thickness of glass you get will be thinner. Pple wants thicker glass for lesser risk of shatter.

comment on the shower screen. Yes, it is that expensive. actually $450x2 belongs to those ordinary, probably brandless de, but of coz still tempered glass. But glass thickness determines the price. Taking into account the contractor added in some profit margin himself, probably will be super lousy de. Yes, u can take out the shower screen and directly source for contractor. but price is still abt there. Good thing is that u can do that ANYTIME u like, no hurry.

homo absorbs stain pretty fast. once it's in there, it's not possible to come off.
