whoa ok ok. thanks for that tip Cloudy! With the current contractor we're negotiating with.. I did the math as you advised. He's quoting me $6/sqft for total and up to $3 tiles. So seems pretty good really. As for GST I haven't seen any yet. I do hope there isn't. heh THANKS!!

haha I know what you mean. My first time too and it's not my own house. (not solely la) mm must be mentally prepared ok? as long as no major hiccups then it's a great reno journey

yay updated with the electrical plans... mm Blue points on the walls include the TV points/telephone points/sockets. Light green points are switches and green dots are lights. Except the green one in the centre which I think I'm going to have a ceiling fan there. prolly need a bigger one. Parents dun approve of ceiling fans that come with lights. Something about the light shaking That aside, I went to see the workmanship of the would-be contractor today and relatively satisfied. Parents seem ok with the person also. Contractor will send the final quote to me tonight... and if all goes well, we'll choose tiles before Friday!

yup!! Luckily it's a *hackable* wall as in not a bold lined one in the floorplan. So HDB shouldn't give us too much trouble. Will be jiggling keys this weekend so will need to get power supply, so that can start work next week. He will prolly submit the plans on Friday so that can get the permit earlier. YES I uploaded this pic then I remembered the store room!!! hahahahaha so blur hor! so YES the storeroom got light!!!! I didn't plot the light switches wor cos I din wan the whole thing to look too messy but you're right the switches will be near doorways lor I already told all my family members that their own room is their own problem so they had to report to me their electrical points then I just plot for the contractor only. hehe will do a couple of extra just in case but not much Already a lot ah. and got pimples. cos dun sleep well. haiz. now going to think about what colour my kitchen will be haha.
