looks well maintained.. if the flooring is still good after the furniture is removed then you can consider keeping the floor esp the bedrooms since they kinda fit the Zen theme ba. Don't worry about pushy IDs. Pushy IDs.. are the ones you will never want. So the pushier someone gets the more determined you have to be to go far far away from them. haha I think good IDs understand the need for us to go home to think about what we want... and will not push us one. surf ard the forum and check out some good IDs? I think payretep's ID seems ok...

hiyee. WELCOME! mmm dun depend on website quotations ok? I have a suggestion.. if you don't know ANYTHING... just approach one or two good IDs and speak to them first. Then you have a better idea of what you need to do. After that you can decide if you really need some items after all. But you must be very determined.. NOT to sign with the first few IDs you meet.. just talk to them and steal their ideas.

mm ashes.. it is true that the lighting in the showroom made it look better but why don't you ask it to be changed? today is the only day you can ask for it to be changed already. I was told that the tiles must be left to set a while which is why it appears that the person tiles until *going to finish* but leaves it alone for a few days... Mine was just like yours.. the top and bottom was not placed for a few days ... then finally they placed it and put grouting. At first I though it was becos they didn't order enough then I was reminded that ceramic tiles might "expand" and need some time to set.

hiyee... mm my VO ah... in my final quotation my electrical arrangement with Uncle was a bit weird. As long as the new socket/switch is on the same wall as the old one he only charges me for the plastic cover but not labour. if it's on a new wall I need to pay for labour + plastic cover. Meaning whatever else in "included" in the quotation though there is not exact price tag to it. So at the end of the reno, I paid $1000 for my electrical (which was half of the bill actually) and plastering of my kitchen which my dad insisted on later... and the shower screen in the common toilet which my dad insisted on also. All these were not in the initial quotation. He did tell me how much he would charge me for each item when we asked for it to be done. So that's alright.
