ivy: horrible right? Hub worked from home just to get the guy down to check. The contractor refuses to come down, only send the noob TC guy to convey stupid messages. BD: i dun have any filter fixed on leh....nothing to remove liao. My water pressure was perfect b4 their 'upgrade', now they wanna push blame on my fixtures! They will be coming down again on wed to chge the water pressure at my mains. But don't they understand, its not abt the pressure anymore, its the intermittent problem!

my mum keeps some of our sec sch textbooks lor! Mine is just 小巫见大巫. But hub already warn me not to bring juke over to new house....

wah!! u r fast! ya, pretty obvious they are trying to pull a fast one on us. The main problem now is the intermittent low pressure. They still dare to push the blame on my pipes and rainshower!

Couple of weeks back, town council informed us that they will be replacing some water pump system that provides water supply to the top 2 levels of my block. After the chge, we found our water pressure extremely small. We used to have huge water pressure before the change, and we after the chge, we had to turn up the water valve at the corridor mains. My rainshower was pathetic until we turned up the pressure. What puzzled me was before the upgrade, everything was working fine. Now, even after turning up the pressure, we experienced intermittent low pressure, even when no other taps were turned on during shower. It happened not only with our rainshower, but even with the normal cold water tap at the kitchen sink! Complained to TC and they say nothing wrong with the new system (ans is as expected.... ). sent a guy down this morning to chge the pipes in our house, told us: (1) my pipes diameter too small.. tt's why my water pressure small. WHAT RUBBISH! then how to explain the humongous pressure b4 their 'upgrade'. (2) their contractor told the TC guy to tell hub that rainshower is not approved for HDB use. Rainshower only meant for private property! WTH!!!! :curse: *pissed*

haha! To be frank, i'm absolutely clueless abt FS. Only hear a bit here n there from my FS-crazy mum. But i do find this topic very interesting and i've been also wondering if toilet door = 2nd door in room. At the end of the day, I also heard something like... 一命二运三风水... so probably 命 & 运 sometimes does supercede FS ba?

hmm, interesting. I was told by my mum similar idea, e.g. me every house can be stayed, just a matter of how u adjust the settings inside to 'even' out the -ve energy. Something like NS face houses is generally preferred FS for most, but yet some pple dun belong to the NS facing group, so this kinda houses dun suit them even thou most pple prefer NS-facing houses. Which means the toilet in MBR logic is okay since the 'extra' door in a room logic is not entirely true?

Hmm, interesting! I have the same remark from my mum too when i told her i'm considering to hack an opening to my next room to make it a wardrobe room. But firstly she says fang zong fang cannot, then later say '1 room' cannot have 2 doors (i.e.: MBR's door and adjacent room's door... assuming i nvr seal it). Then toilet qn also came across my mine. So any expert's advise on this? Eventually i dropped the idea of hacking since i'll have a ugly beam across the 'opening', as well as the possible difficulty in selling.

Hi Planfor2, you r most welcome. I got the num from Pinkpetter and sent hubby to go meet Ah soon alone. He kena the aeroplane for the entire wk, despite the fact we already had our keys n reno can start anytime. Hubby too, was on the verge of throwing him off the list until he finally appear on the final deadline we set. Everything else is history. Do share ur reno with us!

hahah! like merryman said, they didnt steal my slippers lah. just that my 1 side of my slippers was WASHED 2 houses away. i've no idea how they did it, probably just too lazy to even take note that they r washing my slippers! i hate it when the washing makes my door even more dirty. Like tt i rather they dun wash. Thankfully my neighbours are still quite ok pple. I only know the unit on my right, the other neighbours all i dunno.

me too! i had the same problem 2 wks back. dirty water all over my main door n gate, dirty water seep into my unit, 1 side of my slippers went MIA, n i found it outside my neighbour's main door that's 2 units and a good 20m away. Fired a complain email over to TC and they apologised, said have reminded the contractor to take extra care during washing. I'm keeping the email in case the next time it happens again. I've seen them washing till 6pm sometimes.

HDB sells houses, yet they can get the postal code wrong??!!?! This is really classic. Reminded me.. HDB keeps sending letters addressed to my seller to my new place! MM: i agree with F4 lor, getting a cheque is super useful for not only reno, but the payment for furnitures and fittings too. Its safer to pay off the balance in cheque rather than handing stacks of cash to the delivery man ba? F4, pet: i'm v 文静one ok!
