hi oogachaga, Thanks for your info.... hmm hidden in false ceiling, that means you create another lighting point, and then connect the adapter to it, and so the switch can be on the wall as normal? how do you hide the cable to the false ceiling? sorry for the multiple questions, your blog has been very helpful. Thanks! -
congrats for confirming with Yeak preciousjam! so when does the reno start?

hi oogachaga, i am planning to have LED track lights and LED strip on kitchen cabinets as well, may i know how you hide the power adapter of those LED strips in your kitchen? Thanks -
oh ok thanks reiki! do you know the price for those LED strips? and is there any option in the wattage?
-
congrats for the handover, fondue! and you too for the keys, XBB! thinking of putting LED lights too on kitchen cabinet, is it very expensive? should be just a thin strip right? i saw one in IKEA, LED thin strips, dunno whether it's bright enough or not.
-
nice! looks like its very well maintained! congrats, and looking forward for more pictures.

hi fondue, very nice kitchen, the lightings really make a difference. how many T5 did you have to use? and how much is the ceiling light from extreme? you took the biggest one right?
-
nice, i like walnut colors too, most of my furniture is in walnut color
-
hi pinkpetter, oh toyomi was higher price than A lighting? when i was asking around they were quite on par i think, at least for the things i'm looking for. nice board, silver colored and magnetized? where did you buy it from?
-
hi mrspiglet, you moved in already? dont worry after all the moving troubles, you'll enjoy your very nice and cosy home hehe..... just noticed you bought your lightings at no.1 lighting, isn't that the one in geylang rd? was combing that area yest but didnt go in to the no.1 lighting, do they have a lot of choices avaliable? how's the prices there?
-
wow your kitchen really is very spacious........i love how you did the kitchen and dining island, planning to have glass sliding door also?
-
Hi Pinkpetter, nice lights! in fact i was combing geylang road for lights today, and i went to DK lighting, crown, A lighting etc. DK lighting not bad although not much choices there. A lighting has quite a selection and price is not bad....i was served by Alex as well, friendly and knowledgeable chap, he can source out the light if we show him pics? But the best store we encountered today was actually Toyomi, 2 doors from A lighting, good choices and good price, and the sale person was very patient and show us different options and tips. Anybody have bought from Toyomi before? how's their aftersale service?

hi hanjin, nice feature walls and tv hehe..... who did the wall mounting of the TV? the contractor can do it? no need to have the TV guy right?

-
hi rolexboy, nice lightings you have, may i know the price for your foyer and dining lights? i noticed that for living and dining area you only have 1 main light without downlights, is it bright enough? and what kind of wattage you use for the bulbs, thanks!
-
congrats preciousjam!! so did you confirm the ID/contractor yet?
-
hi ocheeeng, not yet, i will work it out with the ID, and once we have it i'll share with you.

ocheeeng, the dresser cabinet as an extension of MBR wardrobe is very similar to the work we'll be doing as well... you must be excited since the reno is starting soon.
