Some ID firms like three-d-conceptwerke charge professional fees while some don't. Quotations are free but should check if you are comparing apple to apple, and if there are hidden costs. And it's very tiring repeating the same thing to different IDs to get quotations. Before you begin renovation, you are half drained. For me, based on friends' recommendation, and from what I heard from this forum (which companies to avoid), I shortlisted 4 to request for quotes.

Gawd. I'm utterly disappointed with how the 3-d drawings turned out. Imagine hacking done, laying of tiles tomorrow but still havne't nailed down the specifics yet? Kept telling my ID that if I have to close my eyes and imagine, why even bother coming up with the drawings? The one who drew the drawings is such a %#^^#^ slacker! I'm gonna upload the pics on my blog tomorrow and you guys shall play Spot the Error game! No prizes though.

yes i agree with ncy. i had a voice mail and the lady from NW refused to leave voice messages. She didn't sms either. Given such initial attitude, imgaine how disatrous ur reno might be?

Went to NW two days ago and Titan from NW was attending to a couple around 9pm. He said all staff had left and gave me his name card and said he will call me the next day. Instead he passed my floorplan to a female colleague of his who called but didn't leave a voice mail when I missed the call. Subsequently when I managed to speak to her, she couldn't accomodate to my schedule and proposed a meeting a week later. Basically a couldn't care less attitude.
