Got any electrician to recommend who understands Home Theater setups? Need a dedicated power supply for my HT gear. Will be getting the Belden power cable from LHS. Just want to be sure the electrician knows what he is doing and doesnt mix up the new line with existing...nullifying the effect of separate power supply.

You will definitely need HDB approval. Will have to seal sewage pipe/hack wall tiles etc from common bathroom. Pretty messy.

Such transparent/translucent glass door only look good when you keep your clothes tidy all the time. Otherwise looks very cluttered and spoils look of whole room. Thats why i am going for a mirror finish. If you want to see whats inside..open the door.

My ID also suggesting to do a WIW but I am not too keen. If I get a close door type WIW then the MBR size looks very small. If I leave door open, then the view of all the clothes(even nicely hung) takes away the entire look of the MBR. Makes it look cluttered. Another factor is that WIW will be next to bathroom. I use hot water to bath/shave in morning. Worried that the steam will make my clothes moist. Especially ones you dont wear for a month or so pick up mould.. So I have opted for a 2 door sliding wardrobe with mirror finish. Less hassle and the look adds to the MBR decor.

I too bought a house recently and agreed to let seller stay on for one extra month. Seller paying me rent for the extra month plus allowing me to store any new stuff like sofa that I might buy. I can also bring ID to take any measurements. Its always better if you can work something out cordially. Threatening with lawyer will only complicate things. Even if you win, you will waste lot of energy and time following up in court.

Spoke to Patrick from Image at Home Design & Decor, Expo. Patiently heard our ideas and suggested his own. Waiting for his quotes now. Can even visit site before finalizing the contract. Only one apart from Extract Living ID who was willing to visit site and finalize quote before signing contract. Now have to check his price. Their showflat at the Expo show is decent. Contemporary and practical designs. Favour a lot of mirrors.
