The 'latest' the cash outflow is the best. Can you control? 'Luck' happens only when preparation meets opportunity. It is an 'AND' conditioned. Only well prepared ppls can possibly own 'luck'. Preparation = Home work. He who able to identify and manage opportunity can possibly own 'luck'. Opportunity (+)= uncertainty (+/-) We live in environments with tons of uncertainties (positives & negatives).... So, do home work and accumulate competency =(knowledge, skill, attitude) to deal with uncertainties! = Avoidance of 'negatives' and identify/make 'positives' happen, with competency within environmental setting = LUCK. Car loan in Singapore is using 'flat interest rate', which is illegal in the U.S.A Monthly instalment = A+B. The monthly amount is 'fixed' throughout the loan period A= payment towards interest B= payment towards principal Instalment = (P.I.Y) + P/n P= loan amount, $ I=interest rate (%)as quoted, not effective interest rate Y= total number of year for loan n= Yx12 = total number of instalment Mortgage loan payment calculation is called 'Annuity due', or term loan. PV = PMT +PMT((1-(1+r) to power of -(n-1))/r)) This one involves 'effective interest rate' = interest is compounded yearly. PV = present value of loan amount, or 'outstanding amount' PMT stands for 'payment' which is monthly instalment amount r= effective interest rate n= number of instalments Want to know more? Wall is a wall. Bed is bed. Wall can be bed and bed can be wall or even sofa or ANYTHING, it's all up to user's creativity. FS sure 'loses out' to creativity. Aware and make options available yet making good uses is wise. Have 'too many' options often caused confusion, hesitation and miss good opportunity. Duno which to wear, what to eat - very common to Singaporeans. Having no option is the worst when decision needs to be made. Come to asset allocation, investment, health, most adults take for granted and prepare no options. 3,4,5 even 6 doors themselves no problem - it is the user who 'can take it or not'. Like 'wear' and 'eat' issues. Problem and challenge is always a dotted line in between. I noticed many posts here in fact relate to 'look around' issue. Followers to get recognition in an 'acceptable manner', typical human behaviour. -

Hi, I cut your words into .....to save space, no other intents. I myself have tons of experience sleeping in 'new places' - always I couldn't sleep well and had 'shallow' dreams - pieces of images here and there appeared in mind and these images always not linked. The 'new places' refer to hotels, camp sites, offshore plateform, boat/ship, friends' house, bus-stop(one only, when I was 18), owned new houses b4 renovation began, Hong Lim park, office, and etc and also present house's sofa when I have serious disputes with wife. I couldn't sleep well, didn't cry but practice deep breathing (took me long time to know this work)slowly when I encountered many 'flashes' across mind, to blend in the body and mind into 'new places' - environment. Kids have less capability, as compared to adults, usually (some adults might exhibit worst than kids) in handling uncertainties (they 'taste' them without preparation and with shocks as consequences) due to knowledge and experience lacking. You can 'test' with yourself for, perhaps, a month or so till body/mind blend in then draw conclusion.

Just to share my understanding to this real world after making almost 50 rounds the sun, not teaching (of course i can't force u not to think this way) Human has been trying to unlock the myth of 'luck' then there comes bazi. Bazi is not about 'luck'. FS are principles to unlock the universal truth: Remeber this universal truth: 'Luck' happens when preparation meets opportunity. 3 components here. To make 'luck' happen, simply? yes! Easy? Difficult! Why? Anyone care to share?

It also concerns market depth (numbers of buyer and seller) Do a PEST (political, Environmental, Social, Technology) analysis/screening, very quick you'll reach conclusion. Singapore is transparent and efficient, almost reach efficient market conditions - tot 'insider' info till play a part.

Don't compare 'service' with prices of commodity/currency pairs which are fundamentally supply/demand driven. You go no where. Only after try can tell 'reasonable' or not. Take it as an 'investment' with zero returns mindset first will propel you further. At times, we need 'gut' just to move forward.

Use NPV, NCD, IRR or WACC approaches to do calculation. Don't know how? Difficult to teach unless u got financial background. As a layman, 50000/3000 = 17 months to recover capital outlay If put 50k at rather risk-free 1% financial instrument, give u abt $750 return after 17months. 17 months guranteed with 2-3k cash inflow? What abt the fix and variable cash outflow during the period, or apportion to each month? What 'hardwork' u have to do to maintain the steady inflow? Do u have the capability in the first place? These are simple questions need to be answered before decision.

To add. One must have concept of 'cashflow'. In or out. For inflows, let then in asap. Delay outflow as late as you can, if possible and allowed, no 'out'. Stream of in and out cashflow at times are unpredictable. Do a proper screening helps reduce the risk. I do that. -

In 'short' - FS covers heaven, earth, human 's interdependent relationship and principles that govern between each. Religion, in general, is a set of 'common practices' and shared values/beliefs among a community. Religion is always cultural-bound. 'Very sensitive' among each different communities when deal with respective cultural issues - they hold different opinions over same issue! Since FS origins from chinese community, it is 'natural and common'- (don't surprise) that some religions practices being 'incorporated' into fs interpretation for interpreters(like fsms)to gain 'supports' of 'believers'. 'Same language' is the key between the 2 parties. From the various fs school of thoughts, one can tell how these cultural aspects have been incorporated. Today's fs world - has seriuosly and mistakenly been 'mixed up' by the intent to the naive with the 'modernised or improvised side-branches' of the original Taoism, for commercial gains. Make things worst, the 'numbering system' and 'polar coordinate system' have been incorporated by the intent adding complexity to FS world. So, be able to back to the original and simple help.

We adopt UK's common law system, so as to speak, with independent judges....will be a fair trial i supposed. The contract imposes duty demand for businessmman to pay in full amount in due time, agreeable between buyer and seller. The contract also imposes duty demand on FSM to deliver product/service in good condition and in good faith. Owing to this demand, businessman thus has right, either to reject product in full, or request to make good to product with conditions impose on fsm. But fsm said businessman must pay additional $xxxx? in order to receive a 'one-piece' product - what is this condition called? On what ground? In Singapore, cost of legal action amounts to abt 25% of worth of subject matter argued upon. Worth? Image? Reputation? Promotion? If 'win' then all become positive, if 'lose' the case? Will lose more! For fsm.
