Hello Just to clarify as I think there are some contradictions in the compass direction you mentioned. On the floor plan you indicated the N arrow and NE at your windows about 45deg. On the other hand you posted 3 readings from 45-47deg standing at your main door. So facing the door is 45 deg or facing the windows is 45deg? This is your house and your got to be very careful in giving details. As long as you're not sure, try not to just put up info here for others to comment because it may lead to more complications in your FS.

Hello Sprinkling salt and rice has nothing to do with hacking of floor. Although salt has a certain purpose when applied, most of the time this is custom related or religion related. For FS, you can omit this step if you like. Usually chinese people comes with different tradition and carrying on this tradition of procedures is a good way of reminder etc. There's nothing wrong to do it, not to do it (do more or less). During the Chinese Dynasty ruling, a lot of these mixed traditional procedures were introduced to people by 'fake masters' during and after the persecution of the remnants of genuine feng shui masters. Sprinkling of salt is believed to absorb the overwhelming Yin qi still lingering (or so called ghosts), while the rice is to appease them or satisfy their hunger and so the story goes. There are many variation of stories from different masters, just enjoy. Hello If you've kept the toilet closed and unused, it is alright. However, other family members may possibly from time to time forgotten and use it. Feeling sick and having job problems may not necessary be due to stove facing toilet. Other parts of your house FS may eg. cause you throat, head problems due to cold/脾胃 and/or workiing/sleeping in SW this month. Whatever from your colleagues or stress from the superior of the company may also be caused by the company FS.

Hello Not much advise right now until you followed my pinned instruction and give me the compass readings. Try to draw a pic of your access balcony/corridor and indicate to me the lifts and stairs. Or take pics and load up here. Building the partition in your Q bed makes the room a bit cramp. It is not good to have an edge of the partiton still in line with a part of the Q bed. Living room partion should not be that far away. It would be better if the horizontal partion is at the other end of your L sofa. You should anyhow put a water feature. Is there any reason why you draw it there?

Hello Haha....if FSM said its 凶, then you ask him to explain. By right he should explain. It can mean many things. It may be the formation outside is bad that affects the flow of Qi to your door; may be "sha" affecting your door; it may be your door has bad facing and etc. Depends on what it is, usually there is remedy. The floor plan is just a guide. Unless your the fsm can't be on site (at least have some photos), otherwise not appropriate to work on floor plan alone.

Hello Its better that you put up the floor plan+compass. It is not advisable to assume standard re-arrangements. I can help better if I have a clearer picture.

Hello Common options are to change/shift the door or relocate the stove. If you not using the stove often, place a plant inside the main door foyer area in the direction of the kitchen door. (to confirm after you give me the facing of house) There are other options but you have to give me the compass direction.

Hello What book or course are you reading/taking? At the look of the numbers, this is refering to 三元九运. 1-4-7/ 2-5-8/ 3-6-9 are the early/middle/later 运. If you are learning flying stars, it is said that if this formation appears in the chart, it would be better than other normal charts. Wrong! If all appears in the whole chart is good! Wrong! If this formation appears and there are proper mountain and water support, it will be stronger than a normal chart. Wrong! The fact is many people who are having this chart (even plus proper support) are not having any difference. However, it can be made to work depending on the understanding of the practitioners. The above should be term as 父母三般卦。There is also 三般卦 which is 123, 234, 345.....etc. Both the above are 龙神上山下水. Sum of ten should be the combined stars in each grid add up to be 10. Same story as above.

Hello You need to provide DOB + time. Let the reno finish first before you move-in. If you're a staunch buddhist and prefer buddhist way, it's better that you ask your temple monk. On the exterior, you got to look at the plot of lands topo, gradient (left/right), roads and surrounding houses, tall bldgs near your estate, lamp post/trees etc. Taking your house as the TaiJi, you'll see many things. You treat the basement as a different level and it has its own Taiji, space and time. It is part of your house feng shui. How it affects will depend on how you allow the Qi flows. Basement is good to have its own door. Then again, it still depends on where it's located.
