  1. I dunno abt their trademark, but I went shopping with my hubby's fren to get his proposal ring for his gf. We saw Celestial, Destiny and Brilliant Rose. It was pretty funny becoz we saw it in the order I described and when he saw Brilliant Rose, he blurted out "why not shiny one?" right in front of the sales lady. We scolded him after that Brilliant Rose is very popular, and it's nicer than Celestial. If you are willing to spend, can go for Gabriella, abt same price range as Destiny but cut is better, thus same brilliance despite lower grade colour/ clarity. But to me, after watching Blood Diamond (movie on how lifes in Africa are taken to mine for diamonds), it is really not worth the money... Still, I appreciate hubby's effort in researching and buying one with his small savings
  2. Dunno how to do that.. .sorry... give u website ok?
  3. Heehee, cannot say that, it's worth the efforts of the person giving it to us

  5. True.. i dunno if I will buy these also... nice but the location very far from parents... and you're paying the same price as a good location spot eg TPY. And I think all the glass windows... may be very hot leh... But still nice to gawk at...
  6. yeah HDB... I love the high ceiling... and the private sky garden... wah... when will they build more of these...
  7. Mine also next to window, never extinguish before leh... but sometimes need to turn on and off the water supply a few times because it doesn't light up initially. Prob due to me high floor, water pressure takes some time to build up, plus heater is 5 years plus old already.

  9. Looking for very slim (in terms of depth) DVD players. Anybody bought one of the above? Comments which is better?
  10. What about if your wall has a crackline that existed both outside and inside? That means the bricks have cracked?
  11. Sang this during my matrimony service, to me, that's the secret to successful relationships Love is patient, Love is kind, It does not envy, it does not boast, It is not proud, It is not rude, It is not self-seeking, It is not easily angered, It keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. L o v e N e v e r F a i l s. Corinthians 13 : 4 - 8
  12. I was told 800RPM is a bit harsh on clothes. I usually run on 600 RPM. Clothes don't spoil so easily. My machine's max is 900RPM but I've never gone that far before.
  13. Do you all know New York New York is super popular? I have to queue 15 min on a weekday and when I left around 8 plus, there was still a long queue...
  14. I bought the planks you're talking abt, joined 2 pieces together to make a nice long shelf just underneath my wall-mounted LCD. Headache is finding a DVD player narrow enough to sit on the plank. But I like it coz easy to clean and saves space. Painted my wall behind a dark purplish red-brown which really makes the tv screen stands out and more soothing to the eyes.
  15. Haha, I remembered my Geography teacher who supposedly have yinyang eyes. She told us not to follow her gaze if she suddenly turn towards the window and stop talking... that made us all WIDE-EYED for her lessons alright...
  16. If you're not going to decorate the London cab the night before, cost 288 for half day service. Or you can also book per hour if you don't need half day. I think it should be $45 per hr. I got contact of a silver cab if you want.
