  1. Hi, I would like to seek advise from mummies who have undergone IVF procedure or in the process of doing this procedure. Currently, I am visiting Dr Loh SF from KKH and intend to go thru this procedure. My IVF briefing will be two months later but I feel a bit nervous. Is there anything I need to be physically or mentally prepare? Thanks in advance! Regards, Emobebe

  6. Wah, so many replies from here. I forgot to check. Well, I still keep that clock inside my storeroom. My husband just told me it is a designer clock. They brought from US back here. I think I should thank them rather than doubting whether it will bring any harm to my family. Cheers:) Emobebe
  7. Haha, you are number 3 not 2. I just browse thru other reno blogs > pixie and neubie used him before. Btw, when is your reno start? Erh, I don't know how to teach from here. Ok, I try my best here..not sure you can follow the instruction. 1) Double click your pdf floor plan file. 2) Go to pull down menu under Tool > Select & Zooms > click on Snapshot Tools. Your cursor will turn up like a cross sign. 3) Highlight the area that you wanna copy by holding on the left mouse. Once done, release the cursor. 4) Then, go to Start > Run > Type mspaint > you will see mspaint program open up. 5) Click on Edit and paste. 6) Save under new file name on your desktop. Hopefully, you can get it right...LOL...else have to ask someone else to help you. Cheers:) Emobebe
  8. Hi Axe, Where is your place? By the way, when are you going to start your reno? Wish you have a smooth reno journey soon!!! Cheers:) Emobebe
  9. Hi Immunity, Never use this type of flooring...So, no idea. Btw, are you still going ahead painting your wall at the kitchen or use tiles? I consulted my friends. They said a trend nowadays...but my mum against it very much. Sighs...so haven't finalised my decision yet. How is your reno progress? Wanna upload your photos here?? Eager to see your reno cos understand done by Alan (if i m not mistaken, LOL)?? Cheers:) Emobebe
  10. Hi Jaskel, Thanks for your explanation. I think I have a better picture now. I won't be squeezing my contractor ID. Anyway, haven't appoint anyone yet.... I was puzzling earlier on cos one of my friend said she was being charged $850!!!! and she has the same criteria as mine ~~ 4 rm flat, same area, renovation items more and less same... One more question if you don't mind, how about the average cost for tic tac door (with feature wall/laminate finish)? Cheers:) Emobebe
  11. I saw a fridge which can be opened by either side at AMK Court last week. Brand I can't rmb...Not sure whether Panasonic or LG. You can check it out.....
  12. Hi all, I think Jaskel got the valid points too. Btw, Jaskel you are a contractor ID rite? I got few questions since we are in this same topic on quotation... 1) What is the average market price to do a rewiring for a 4 rm flat? What are the things included? 2) The clearing debris and haulage services - what is the average charges? How do they charge? Cheers:) Emobebe
  13. Hey May, Thanks for your effort for snapping up this tile photo! I know you are busy and I am sorry to burden you with this. Anyway, I am your fan. Always read up your post here....hehe Emobebe
  14. That is the best info that I can provide for you rite now. By the way, I think you should get a few quotes to compare. Good luck!
  15. Hi 4180, you seems very knowledgeable. Can I check with you what is average market price for rewiring 4rm flat electrical points and what are the things should be included and number of items for each? Btw, you did mention about granite top with 90 per foot run ...what about about solid top LG Hi-Mac? What should be the average price for this? Thanks! Emobebe
  16. Erh, what about someone give you a clock as housewarming present? Actually, my husband and me got a shock from this. We moved in to a rented place and I got this Chinese Indonesian couple gave me this type of gift. They are free thinker and don't believe in feng shui. Anyway, my husband and me keep the clock inside storeroom. I don't know how to tell them that I don't want this type of gifts...sighs...
  17. Hi coldflamez, I am sorry I was a bit blur didn't even notice the contact at your signature. Thanks for your reply anyway. Yes do agree that the inflation and expensive labours has jerk up the cost of reno. Sighs... Regards, Emobebe
  18. Hi Hafizah, Love your cutie kitchen island!!!! By the way, how much you being quoted for the power strip? I have seen that in my friend's place but she can't remember how much was that cos she fixed it quite some times ago. Cheers:) Emobebe
  19. Sorry ya Hafizah, I used your thread here to ask Jaskel question.... So, which one got the latest trend? By the way, are those laminates can withstands scratches and moisture? Will they easily peel off easily? If I were to choose white colour from any of those laminates, will it turn to yellowish over times?
  20. I think you need to consider a few stuff before hacking the wall (if you really wanna do that) 1) Any elderly stay with you? 2) Got baby planning or future kids room? 3) If wanna hack, make sure you have a very good design on that particular room and overall theme? Why? My agent advised me before if anything hack inside the unit, COV will drop by 20k unless you have a very good location, high floor, near famous school, amenities etc. 4) How many years you will stay there? If 5 years only, then don't bother to hack. Just make it simple will do. I disagree with your ID that hacking will do more design. It is depends on the creativity of designer. They can play around with the colours, materials and furnishing to make it more interesting. But I do agree the placement of wardrobe should be there. And maybe you wanna consider queen size bed instead of king size bed?? Just my own view only...the rest of forumers have their valid points too....for your consideration... Cheers:) Emobebe
  21. I ever thought of your option like laminate all the bedrooms and hack only kitchen, living and dining area. I also think of kronos original bcos of 15 years warranty and I love the cherry wood colour but I am planning for baby soon so I guess it is not a wise option for me. Don't worry about the wastage. The ID or Contractor usually already factor in 10% of on top of total area that you wanna do. They won't do refund to you if use lesser tiles. However, bigger tiles will have more wastage in fact. For me, I changed my mind to use 600 x 600 and my tiles capped from a range of $2.6 till $3.80. Usually if you pick a tile that is cost more than being quoted like ten cent more, they can close "one eye" and no additional charge but twenty cents more they will charge you. You know what I did before this. Maybe a bit silly. I went to tiles shop at Balestier Road and check what kind of tiles I like and how much the cost psf. So, when I asked the ID or contractor to give me quotation, I know what range of tiles I can pick for my new home. I will pre-empt them the price first to include inside the quote. For my kitchen, I still indecisive. Thinking to select 300 x 600 anti slip homogenous but contractor told me the best is 300 x 300 to do the angular else he will come out with another pattern design for 300 x 600 like jig jaz...I am wondering whether I can accept this pattern or not. LOL...decision and decision again...sighs!
  22. Sorrie, too many ppl pm me. You can send now. Waiting.....thanks!!!
  23. Hi Mrs SCP, From what I understand from the ID/Contractors which I have spoken with, the cost of laying the tiles is still the same. The same amount of cement will be used. But one main thing big different is the wastage of the tiles. So, I am not sure how your ID/Contractor charge you. By the way, one thing to take note for the kitchen. If you prefer just to mop instead of wash it, then you can opt for bigger tiles else you have to choose smaller dimension tiles for the tiler to do the angular job. Cheers:) Emobebe
  24. If per foot run, then cheap else per square foot very expensive! I called the company this morning. Thinking to outsource my wardrobe. A guy pick up mumbled, not sure what he said and then passed the call to another guy. Was told that sales guy will call me but till now no one call. I asked the guy over the phone about the laminates what is the different from other laminates in the market >>> He not able to answer. Sighs! I am wondering the boss hire the right person to work in his office???? LOL....
  25. Hi J|ng, Finally started your reno. Congrats! By the way, just wanna check with you do you have a square shape dented in your wall **** room before the wall plastering? The reason why I asked this because I have those and was asking a few contractors if do wall plastering whether can cover up. They said only temporary and you will see crack lines sooner or later even after painting. I am still considering whether want to plaster or just leave it...sighs...decision and decision again!
