  1. the flooring looks great! got this very rustic n country look. think it'd look much nicer after they've cleaned it up.
  2. seriously???? wow!! the dentist plucked 2 wisdom tooth without a single jab?! i find that shocking and unbelievable. keke the wisdom tooth is a molar leh! u know how far the 'roots' goes or not? not to mentioned it is located right at the end. its not easy extraction. unless your teeth were already very decayed and shaky and it'd come off easily. mabbe u forgot got jab bah... dun think the dentist wld take this type of risk. if u pass out on his chair due to the pain, he wouldn't wanna be responsible aiyoo.. dun scare her lah. I believe GA is optional to the patient.
  3. the fur is inevitable... do GR shed alot? mine sheds fur like siao. and the underside paw fur also grows out real fast. every 2 mths or so, we will trim it. i keep my gals furs short short too. how come got siliva marks? does she chew her paws? gotta scold her when she does that.. its a habit. either that or might have some ticks. do check it often. what kinda solid top you have? i use 'lemon pledge' to polish n clean my solid top. after that nice n shiny n nice smell too. try it! but use a soft cloth hor... does your dish rack have "legs"? if not, water sure to accumulate one. if no "legs" or legs not high enuff, got to those DIY shop and buy the 3M ones to elevate it. my dishrack got legs but i feel its not high enuff, so that what i did. smelly coz probably most of the windows are closed or opened slightly i think? errmm... get an air purifier. those that have water in it and goes swirlling type. nowadays cheap cheap liao...
  4. keke.. that sounds bery familiar to me try to use a small handtowel to clean her paws often. thats what i do, it helps !! keep raining everyday now... hope the rain stops soon!
  5. since nv do then dun worry too much abt it. happy is most impt. enjoy your new home.
  6. ohh.. ok... hmmm... i guess mine shouldn't have that ghosting problem then..either that or i really dun notice it at all. keke.. which is a good thing. my desktop LCDs dun have any ghosting 'effect' either.
  7. hi applefreak, LCD got ghosting image? whats it suppose to look like? keke... was trying to see if there were any after reading your post. i have another samsung at home too. i dun seem to see any on mine leh...
  8. hey yang guo, dun mention it. so how did your moving in day go? all nicely settled in liao?
  9. actually i think it may be a good thing if yuki doesn't go to just anybody then won't anyhow follow strangers, later kanna dognap! haha.... (but then when 'Beta' calls, must come lah! keke... still considered the other half of the 'Alpha' mah ) i have 2 CS old dogs liao... thats why i say i sooooo miss those puppy yrs... thats why told u to treasure it.
  10. puppy sure hong sim one, nvm.. will take a while how come she dun come to beta? use some treats to lure her lor... keke .. actually puppy should come to almost everybody coz they think its play time with everyone mah. ahh.. i really miss those puppy days. enjoy it while u can ya, coz before u know it, bery fast will grow up liao.
  11. haha.. we almost hoot a 47" actually. but decided not to burst our budget (must be really discipline when buying stuff for new house if not really no end to "wants" keke..). i got the full HD one, $2299 with $120 ntuc vouchers and also threw in a hdmi cable which he claims worth $80. good deal i hope, considering i actually ordered the same unit for $2500 (without any freebies) about 1-2 mths back. then i realised got IT show so decided to wait a bit, luckily the guy nice enuff to let me cancel (maybe coz i also ordered my WM Dryer and fridge from him so he chin chye).
  12. yep, the crowd was scary indeed! when we got there, there were crowds of people J-walking across under the overhead bridge that part. the overhead bridge was jam-packed too. keke... then all the cars kinda got stuck! at the entrance, got bottleneck too...and we were moving really slowly. after 3 hrs battle of running around and comparing, we finally settled for our LG 42". lol! that same set that i was beo-ing 2 mths back. then we went to see the PS3.. super crowded there too. but the sales person like kinda boh-chap, maybe no commission thats why so since i pong-chek (and headache) from the crowd, i decided the PS3 can wait another day. hey keltong, ur new flat at admiralty?
  13. i think the PS3 is bundled with 1 free game. and if i understood the gal correctly, she said MUST buy the PS3 with 2 games. i think on last day no more display sets liao lah. the guy fr the lg and samsung booths told me that normally by 1st day all the displays snatched up and people "book" liao...no need to wait for last day. hehe...
  14. i think jimmy is like a '1 man show', he answers calls and takes the orders then he also involved in the deliveries. keke.. think his biz is not bad. yep, got to say, both times when i called him, he like quite busy. 2nd time think he forgot to call me back, so 2 days later, i call him back and everything was arranged. they were late though on the day itself by an hr or so, but since i was not very pressed for time, i chin chye lah, didn't make any fuss about it.
  15. hi! how was your open house that day? i wanted to sms u and see if i can go kaypo or not.. i live pretty near u ... but was so busy cleaning up so in the end didn't contact u.
  16. ohh... for the stove thingy carry walk around the hse 1 round, then to the kitchen n put down can liao. and for the other stuff juz walk in straight into the kitchen n put there lor. keke.. no need to carry long long. !! yes, these are "meaningful" stuff lor. yep, no stangers suppose to kaypo during your moving in day. depends on how pan-tang u are, moving in day procedure should only involved those who are living in the house. when u eat your first meal (the moving in day), it also cannot include other people. coz it is said, like this your wealth will be shared by those at the table. keke.. i think belongings u can settle before or after is ok... for us we moved in our belongings a day before the actual move in day. we are not newly weds...so we moved the bed and boxes of clothes etc etc. i think newly weds must still do the 'an chuan' (settle the bed) but i'm not so sure how that is done (me forgot what we did back then liao). i think not necessary to be before 10am. sometimes the fsm (if u engage one) will give u a 'good' timing. but most times early morning is good.
  17. i find doorplus a little on the pricey side too. but the guy (the boss i think) seems to be a really sincere guy. so maybe their doors are better for the price premium i really wouldn't know. i think should come with the lockset and stopper ya? doesn't quite make sense to not come with it, then have to find someone else to install it? kinda troublesome if like that.
  18. ermm.. sorry, what do u mean by touring the house? u mean, u guys not staying in for the night?
  19. well, better to be early, coz the charcoal might take a while to really burn up. !! is it only u and your wife staying in this house? if got other family members, remember that EVERYONE must carry something 'meaningful' in hor...no one to be empty handed.
  20. the kitchen stuff juz put in the kitchen can liao. when u eng then go arrange lor. kekeke.. no need to eat lah! i forgot to mention the wife suppose to be carrying these things hor. i mean the kitchen thingys. u know got those shops that sell stuff like these...kitchen stuff, clothes pole, hangers... pots and pans blah blah... (dunno if u know what i'm referring to or not). the stove-like thingy only about 4 bucks niah. then charcoal i bot fr giant. remember to get some fire-starters. helps to burn it up faster. oh ya, and do moving in procedures earlier better according to my MIL (no no do after sun set hor!). she said must be before 10am. so by 730am we both outside our house fanning the charcoal. think neighbours must be wondering this 2 siao ting dong doing simi early in the morning.
