ermm... i tell u what i did ok? 1) i got a mini stove-like thingy and burn charcoal until red red. then my ah lao rolled the pineapple in and shouted loud loud HUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTT AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. (he roll until sibei zhun siah... it actually went one straight line right to the 'zheng chai wei'. 2) when charcoal is ready, he carried it in. walk around the house. then into the kitchen. 3) we got stuff like rice bucket, rice, salt, sugar, vinegar, sauces. (think 5 types is enuff liao). also got fresh flowers. and a bundle of chopsticks. and 5 dufferent types of fruits. (actually whats with the 5 ah? me also not sure, juz follow what fsm told me.) 4) then open all your windows, run all taps, on the stove also. a while can oready. (my contractor didn't connect the stove for me, when i asked him he said connect liao. so me improvised and put the burning stove-like thingy on my stove instead. !!) 5) then boil some water and drink. some say make tea also can. 6) at night i cooked rice. errmmm... i think thats about it!

hi! is your crate configuration still the same? can i make some suggestions? (hope u dun find me kpo ) 1) shift the water bottle to the other side. coz its at the pee tray side. if she pots, she's quite likely to step on it before getting to the water. 2) take that bedding out, takes up too much space. use an article of your clothing (old one lah.. that u dun wan liao, so if it gets soiled u can juz throw away..t-shirts would be good). it wld be better if u can use it first! got your scent... helps with the bonding...helps reassure the pup when its alone when u go work or go out. 3) that bowl too big liao.. change to smaller one. how old is your pup? doens't look younger then 4-5 mths. can feed twice a day lah. try not to put food inside the cage. feed morning before u go work then night when u return. haha.. mama=alpha. i like that *wink*

are u trying to crate-train her to do her pee & poo in the cage? i never liked crate training..i think its messy! unless the crate is super big, doggy sure will step all over then become smelly doggy.....not so lovable liao. keke... ya ya, grooming is another 'habit' that must form in the early wks/mths! everytime after u're done, reqard her with some treats. when mine was a puppy, she'd wriggle and play bite when i wanna cut her nails or brush her...cannot sit still at all!! but now bery good lor. when i take our the brush, automatically come and sit in front of me. coz she know after that got treats to eat. a RAT?! omg... faintz!

oh ok... then i think i'd plan it for 10 days after then.

greycat, do u mean those transparent plastic piece that is fixed on the gate? if u change your gate (if u never change gate, can still check if they can do for u..but maybe not so worth lor), u can try to ask them to do for u too. it is riveted onto your gate, and u can customise the height. looks neater n nicer then those mesh thingy that u diy.

awww... what a beautiful corgi. very nice markings too. congrates on your new addition to the family. remember to be firm when training your pup. the early wks & mths are really crucial as they set the proper foundation. do this right... and nextime all your headaches will be gone. my suggestion: 1) keep all your carpets. 2) confine to a small area when toilet training the pup. only introduce her new area on strict supervision. 3) control your pup when it barks. don't let it yip endlessly when overly excited now pup must teach this (very impt if u stay in hdb), coz grow big liao rather hard to correct. happy training. a well behaved dog is a joy to have.

there is a thread on aircon quotes here. http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?sh...9682&st=120 maybe u can check that out. i find that normally when contractor/id quote the aircons will be more ex. for me, i feel its better to get your own. but getting your own got a slight disadvantange as in you might have to liase the timing for installation properly.

hi applefreak, yep, mine also like that. me also got a thick bedhead. my fsm also told me to get a bedframe with a thick backing. thankfully the old bed has one already, if not me got to waste $ to buy new frame. hehe..
