hey mafiawife, pm u liao. wah, u r lucky woman! for me, is the reverse. i am the cook, hubby wash.. and mind u, its juz wash the plates after dinner hor. to think that sometimes he even complain about it!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!! anyone who is a real cook should know that while cooking the several dishes, sometimes in between also got to do a lot of washing (esp the wok).. unless u got like 3 woks lah! also preparation is even harder then cooking part sometimes.

how much did u pay for your false ceiling? i've a 5 rm flat and i got 2 quotes for false ceiling and they differ quite greatly... difference is almost $450. i thought materials used for false ceiling should be standard and same? how come price can differ so much? anyone have good contacts to do false ceiling only?? another question. do we have to do electrical works before doing false ceiling? thanks!

i think its not a problem... but ehh... wouldn't it like 'spoil' the look of your balcony? not to mention, if aircon in operation in the bedroom, u can hear the compressor if u sit in your living room (assuming aircon not on there and balcony doors are open). kinda noisy isn't it?

hello, i like your wood-like tiles for the bedroom. looking forward to see the overall effect when its done. i actually want to do these type of tiles for my bedroom too. but my hb doesn't want. he want to do real laminated flooring. for me, i'm thinking more about the durability... oh well........
