Harlow kingzkong! I thk we haf the same kitchen tap....*high-five* !! Actually my hse is oso greygrey (see my name Greycat u can tell I like greycolor) n I oso attempted the darkgrey-lightgrey combi for my living/dining area. Oso made a mistake...but my mistake was my 2 greys too near until cant see difference (light-tone). Dont worry abt the dullness u feel nw , I thk ur darker grey is good contrast....like what lifestyle says, u can buy decorative items that r mre colorful....I have yellow color dining chairs as a result, hehehe....but lucky for me, grey happen to be my best FS color.... Is grey ur FS color too? If so, mabbe we haf the same type of FS quote, hahaha.....

Thanks! Yup...I was wondering as I saw the mirrors kinda have an "edge" at all the joint parts. My ikea mirror is exactly like dat but its a limited size.....cool.... Mine mbr toilet is the plain one big piece nw....never thot of ur idea, sigh...too late liao...

Yup, touch-up works always drag wan.....rem to clean n clean over again. Only when ur hse is clean clean, den u can spot the defects/mistakes..... See a baby boy picture under ur signature, is that ur 1st baby? Is this ur 1st hse too? I guess we kinda configure our hme according to our living habits. So if its ur 1st hme, u wont really know if cabinets etc fit until u use it on daily basis... My hubby commented after renos dat my wardrobe config looks exactly like what I have in my mom's place, hehehe..... **old habits die hard la...**

Harlow Kajua....congrats! Exciting times ahead! Rem ur kitchen sink n accessories, like kitchen tap....these oso need to be measured for the solid top. And those steel baskets or trays which u can fix to ur kitchen cabinets. Not sure if ur ID is providing for u all these items or if u buying urself.... If u buy early, u run the risk that some of the measurements will be wrong if u change ur designs later. But its always gd to start looking early so u can compare 1st n just buy straight away later. Sometimes, the item u like may jus be out of stock wan so buy early oso got advantage la... Looking fwd to ur reno pics...

For all who haf moved in abt 2-3mths oredi....rem to clean ur aircon filter nw before CNY... I moved in Sep 07, till nw 3mths liao...even though we wrapped up the aircon unit during reno but it took abt 1-2mths before dust settled n most of my neighbors to finish reno.... Recently, I feel the aircon less n less cold so askd hubby to clean it. True to my words, it was filled with a THICK layer of DUST....gosh...

Cuz we stay near TsimShaTsui so we jus Jalan Jalan nearby few mrt stations... Not sure if it helps, the 2nd floor got a few shops sell bedsheets wan (like Aussino type of shops). once u go up escalator can see the display set liao (hello kitty)....I didnt see forever bear le...
