common worries. everyone will feel like that.. i also been through the same thing. I keep thinking, I can accept what is him now. In future, what will happen, i dunno. Each of us has our own worries. Have to see how we overcome it. I have been with my hubby for almost 10 yrs before ROM-ed. Dating and marriage is 2 different thing. Alot of ppl sure say, "10 yrs, sure no problem in marriage". To me is Bull****. Who can garrentee no problems in future??? We all have to learn how to manage a marriage. Not easy eh.

Same here. So far only bought sofa, dining table, fridge, washer and TV. Next thing i need is computer table. Haven't bought bed yet. Because of the chinese custom 'An Chuan'. Totally understand your worries eh. I am also under going same thing here. Very stressed up on money issues. After reno and buying furnishings. Very broke liao. My banquet haven even book yet. Then now hotels asking more $$ for deposits.

This afternoon met up with patrick. Because want him to drill some holes to fix things like towel hanger. At the same time he passed me the final quotation. Total cost $6000 nett. Which means pay money time!! The final touch up is not done yet. Will be doing it tomorrow. Just now ah keong's worker help me to drill 2 holes to my TV console so that the wires can go through the holes. But I did something stupid. I told the worker to drill one of the holes at the position which is out of the way. Did not notice it until the hole is drilled. Argh!!

$49? what size? normal ones, 1m by 2m is too short for me... I looking for dark brown colour. I been to 2 curtain shops, don't have the colour I wanted. West mall curtain shop got the colour I wanted. I haven gotten my string curtain yet. Still looking around see got cheaper and nicer range.

Eh.. out of topic to post it here right? Anyway, i went to Deng Shifu Fm Fo Guang Hong before to only get my wedding dates. So far find him pretty friendly and helpful.

Your house got more window panels than normal flats? I suppose so right? Because yours are 2 storey. Or you pick more expensive range? I pick my MBR, plain ones but more expensive range. The other 2 rooms, I pick plain ones but cheaper range. Living room, I decided to go bold and pick a strip design range. Hopefully, will look nice.

Hmm, I called them on sat, they quote me $105 for that diamension.. Slightly more ex from the west mall shop. Clementi got 2-3 curtain shops, got quite a no. of ready made curtains. You may want to check it out.

The shop name is First Class Textiles. I think is the 2nd shop after POSB bank.

Today went to source for curtain quotation, of course decided to drop my mum's friend from our list. No choice, don't have enough budget for higher end curtains. First place we went is the shop at west mall, the person quote us $2180 for full house, day & night curtains. We felt that the pricing is still out of our budget, decided to drop this shop also. But we found the colour of the string curtain we wanted. Selling @ $99, 1m by 3m. Will get the string curtain from them at later time. Next we went off to clementi, there are 2 big curtain shops there. We walked into one of them, inital quotation is $1400++, we sat down with the uncle for more detail discussion, material selections. The uncle is very patient. He took out quite a number of material catalogs for us to choose. Finally, we settled the materials and the final price is $1380 for full length day & nite curtains for whole house, except for aircon ledge window, which i only wanted day curtain. Tuesday, they wil send someone else down for measurements.
