Yup, mine 4room but wil be doing the kitchen only.... 10k coz of the materials i ask them to quote... BLUM n Quartz... since not doing any built in wardrobe, no flooring needed or feature walls, think could splurge a little bit for the kitchen.. Which will be my forte.. How about u, cynta? I guess from ur quote, u are doing quite a number of things, right? have a smooth reno ya...

Maybe, kitchen laminates comes with ABS trimmings? That's y it last longer...

Where's the sink and food preperation area, u may ask? Well, slide open the doors and voila... I read the whole of his reno adventure, and i like everything he did... he'a kinda like my inspiration. If u like to know more about his works, just google lieblingsg. He's no ID, nor contractor btw...

But of course, my all time 'wow' kitchen... From lieblingsg tiong bahru SIT house.. It's what is described as 'wetdream' kitchen... Love love the design... Droolworthy, isnt it?

This week marks the period for second reviews of quotes received. More or less the things we want to be done for the kitchen mainly and miscellenous works amounting up to 10k.

To me, all other sinks i looked at didnt have the 'wow' factor.. But when i saw kraus sink kim76 bought i went it's the only sink that made me feel that way, thus i bought it. No disappointment on my part.. Yet to install the sink, though.. Still looking out for ID...

Thanks, DancingInTheRain.... In the meantime will put pics of inspirational kitchens... Currently undergoing the gruelling sessions of meeting a few IDs for quotes. Some dropped by my place for on site survey... Others we met outside. One we only email them the floor plan and telling them what we need to do... Seems like weekends are always burnt...

Really really adore ur tblog.... Very informative... I realise some of my quotes received are missing the ABS thingy. Need to highlight to the IDs and see whether there will be revision of price quotes anot.

Heng... Only minor defects were discovered. They got rectified swiftly. We opt in the flooring and doors... Hubby said would save the hassle. Hope it will stay hassle free for long time.... Read so much horror stories regarding opt in flooring, but bo bian.. Boss say include, so i said ok lor...
