  9. for me the main thing is i don't want to take loan and the flat wasn't really a planned thing thankfully we managed to get a 'new' flat from hdb so everything is original condition basically just did kitchen cabinets, built-in wardrobe for 2 room and some misc stuff all in about $17k

  14. 90sqm for three of you okay lah just a suggestion, you might want to consider shifting your bed nearer to the bedroom door being the FS believer, i think sleeping facing the toilet doesn't sound ideal worse is the door opening to the WC and also away from the window coz low floor means can hear people walking / talking downstairs
  15. hehehe compared to the rest of us, consider quite big already HHS is the household shelter - the 'storeroom' that cannot be demolished
  16. hi mrspiglet, how about shifting the orientation of the sofa? i.e. having the L-shape the other way then turn the shoe cabinet a right angle and use the back as tv console? this way the dining table can be at the wall of the MBR/kitchen :dunno:

  25. there are actually a lot of country-of-origin for granite e.g. spain, italy etc however, like tiles from these countries it's much more expensive just remember to tell your countertop maker to seal the granite properly so far researches done on the internet indicates that this is a very important step to prevent watermarks
