  1. there's two ways of looking at this one way - pioneer withdraw from tv market. might result in the difficulty of getting spare parts (me not worried coz got extended warranty. worst come to worst get the set replaced loh) other way - last chance to own a plasma with pioneer produced screen
  2. the powdered milk you referring to is human milk or animal milk? pet shops got sell those pet formula for young animals do force feed the puppy coz it's vital for him (her?) to get as much nutrients as possible
  3. i look just like my avatar except i'm not so furry
  4. spam chop very nice square layout at least don't have to worry about missing corners
  5. actually i realise that beginning jan is the best time to go the weather is so good that i can stay at chatuchak for the whole day can you imagine i didn't even sweat a bit there
  6. actually the 'eating' part applies to all animals cats, hamsters, dogs, big cats, big dogs etc esp when the newborn has some form of disability another reason for puppy deaths is the mother don't have enough milk so she will choose to keep the strongest and 'remove' the weakest so that there's enough milk to go around crossing my fingers for your two pups they'll grow up strong and healthy
  7. hehehe it's like my annual pilgrimage mah some more that time during reno whole year didn't go so must make it up didn't order until after we took the pictures by then too busy tucking in to take photo liao  i think we must set a date in mar 09 coz not everyone log into here frequently... how about 06 Mar evening? yah me also feel like going back after seeing the photos but think it'll be at least a few months later
  8. hehehe i trust in plain old soap and water thanks to my mother for her good genes so i don't have much problems
  9. the hotel is amari watergate, located right smack in pratunam the only thing no good is that there is a long flight of stairs leading to the hotel lobby bad when you are tired out from a day of walking at the platinum mall if taking taxi back not a problem at all think due to the unstable condition, the hotel room was going at slightly more than S$100 per night
  10. this is for the BKK kakis the wanton noodle stall has shifted into the lane only a few steps away from the hotel we stayed the big banner announcing the shift our dear cowboy noodle cook think he lost his cowboy hat to another boy in a bet the :dribble: pig trotters the much cleaner and bigger interior mrs compassvale, this is for you the hotel that you said you wanted to stay when we were there upon entering the room the bathroom is on the left the interior of the room the super comfortable king size bed zz the bathroom the very innovative door swing one way to close the bathroom and swing the other to close up the wc area separate shower stall and bathtub too for val, thanks for the great recommendation we have fallen in love with somtam went there four out of five days for dinner :dribble: the interesting tasting northern sausage watch out of the grilled bird-**** chilli the must-have fried chicken wings the yam woon sen that i've fallen in love with can't wait to go back and eat again our dinner on a typical day
  11. some times things happen in a way that you cannot don't believe loh the door-face-door thing will be bad if both rooms are occupied if one of the room is empty then it's still not too bad if it's not too hard on your budget then might as well do it however, if you are not a firm believer then can spend the money on something else didn't take a picture now coz my bed is not in a permanent position i've shifted it all around my room trying to get a 'best' position now it's facing my toilet door and i use a curtain to cover the toilet door
  12. if your wtb giving piano lesson i confirm sign up just to have the chance to :dribble: at your home
  13. spam chop agree that the doors are not very well positioned in your unit for the main door vs BR2 door, think a divider will solve the problem but the MBR one really headache then again, to me it'll be money well spent coz down the road it'll be a big project to do adjustments but without shifting the door you might attribute every single obstacle/quarrel/misfortune to the position of the door just like me now facing with my stupid MBR bathroom door
  14. spam chop congrats on getting what you are looking for any floor plan to share???
  15. i know nghee hong does carry those korean cabinets not too sure if they carry these exact same chests i think accent on accent (singapore handicraft) might have something like this :dunno:
  16. erm, there is no best place leh it all depends on where you work, where you usually go and what do you expect from your surrounding singapore being a very small country, location isn't really that important so your needs, e.g. couple with children will want proximity to good schools; singles will want proximity to certain amenities and elderly will want proximity to other amenities, will be the deciding factor
  17. me not knowledgeable lah, just happen that i did a lot of research for my own renovation plus the fact that my floor tiles popped just before we shifted just anthony has a lot of nice stuff, but they are the priciest around too maybe you want to check out places like nghee hong, feffco, singapore handicraft etc before committing to the purchase as for the laminate, how about delaying the vanity cabinet? my kitchen cabinet laminate was not available too but i chose to wait better to wait a while than compromise
  18. i've lived alone for a couple of years before not too bad, as long as you learn how to cook for one maybe you want to include possible gatherings as one of the considerations when you are renovating at least you can invite friends over that's what i did when i lived alone, but everyone got to sit on the floor
  19. love the little touches that makes the place look like home your clock is pretty unique and the arco lamp adds a classy touch
