HanTu replied to wyx03's topic in Reno t-Blog Chat - HDB BTO Interior Design and Renovation
To the rest, please pm TS for the ID that they use. I pm TS and i am shocked to learn that the ID that did this to them is a popular one in renotalk. They are even in my top 5 list of 'clean ID'. -

Why are you giving away the floor trap? Is there a problem with the installation? Or just does not look nice from your opinion?
-
Opal. Thanks. I should not regret too given the cost savings.

Care to pm me your id?!?!? nolah just kidding. I saw your first post. Anyway, can I ask where did you get your vinyl tiles from? I went to Hafary and it's a bit expensive and there is no much of wood. More of "glazed ceramic" type.

Congrats mavi on finishing the reno (yes im still here). I just realised we will be living across the street separated by an LRT station. Regarding the gas water heater, is true you need 5-10 seconds (when you first turn it on each day) for the hot water to reach the temperature you need? This question came after everyone's dilemma between getting gas water heater vs bennington c600.

Id/contractors That Accept Credit Cards For Payment
HanTu replied to HanTu's topic in Renovation Packages
So there are IDs that accept credit cards. Just those big names. -
Hi all, Understand that ID/contractors usually accept cash or cheque for payment. Are there any ID/contractors that accept credit card for payment? I can pay by cheque but my main intention is to get credit card points.

Very nice and detailed mavi. Looks like you hide every single cat6e cable in your house. Haha. I saw the ventilation on the shelves where the switch will be kept. Hopefully switch has enough ventilation.

Nice man. Good to hear that. One thing that is pulling me away from buying a good hood is that they have this charcoal filter which needs to be replaced every year or two. Not sure where to get the spare charcoal filter or will it still be in production many years down the road. On a side note, nice quartz top!

Hey Mavi, One question. When you distribute your cat6e trunking from the study room, how did you run the cable as it enters the room? ie. there is a door. When you close the door, the cable get squashed up right?

Agreed and thanks for confirming. Actually there are two rubber insulation needed. One for the copper pipe and the other is PVC pipe. The thicker the rubber insulation the better but 1/2 inch is like the better standard. Yes totally agree the installation part is the most important.
