My ceiling fan is from Crestar, gunmetal colour, can see from the link in my signature. Rest of the house all KDK standing fan.

Do not own a chimney hood but from what i see at my brother's place, the hood cover is just a empty casing, does not contribute to its performance. But asthetically, dangling in mid air does not look so nice.

As what the others say, Duro lock price pretty fix, no diff where u get it from. We using Duro padlock for the gate, 4 keys already provided. Was told that if want to duplicate extra keys, need to pay $10 per extra key cos normal locksmith outside will not be able to duplicate, not sure true or not.

Tower fan, nice but no wind. Difficult to clean also. Ceiling fan, must have for me. Does not take up floor space and easy to clean, just use a cloth and wipe.

Too ex. Condo fiitings and finishing so what, still a HDB flat, accessible to pubic, no exclusivity. My present HDB flat, finishing and fitting also quite ok. But bcos it is a HDB flat, it is accessible to public, littering and vandalism is pretty rampant. I will not want to pay half a million, higher S&C, but yet see my lovely neighbourhood become the playground for vandals and litterbugs.
