Yeah, will be warm and noisy. Have a friend staying in masionette, air-con compressor at balcony, switch on air-con must close balcony doors cos the warm compressor air may flow into the house. Not forgetting the compressor noise too.

Paiseh, but dun really notice any millipedes, maybe too pre-occupied with my prep for moving in. Where are they? Perhaps the heavy rain over the pass few weeks are forcing the millipedes to come out of their hiding holes, thus benefiting the birds.

Saw your reno blog and dun think those are data/ethernet pts, just normal telephone socket, same as mine. Dun think HDB will lay ethernet points in HDB flats, especially with wireless router at such low prices, and IDA push to have wireless access all over Singapore.

Yes leh, i saw them washing using the high pressure jet leh. Saw them washing from 24th floor downwards yes'd, but dun know which floor did they stop. If my neighbours wash for me i also dun mind, so nice neighbours.

They washed it on 19 Dec, not sure which floors have they washed. My unit on #25. But it is not easy to wash all 40 floors.

Hi Mace, Any advise on how to remove those silicon gel stain and white sealer stain from glass? Pretty stubborn stain, difficult to remove. Read that one of the recommendation to clean grouting lines is to use toothbrush and bleach. My grout lines are black colour, will bleach cause the colour to run? Or any other methods? TIA

For ours, our electrician tapped from the original TV point but he said not to seal off the original pt cos when later on SCV come to activate the cable TV, they will need to do it from the original pt. Cannot really see clearly from the pictures below, but the wiring is running from the original TV pt to the new TV point. Still not sure if it is ok cos have not move in and test it out yet.

I think most linksys router will be compatible. Just follow the installation CD provided to setup the router, very easy. Which HDB flat is this, have ready-laid ethernet points.
