Congratz, getting the 1st home is certainly most exciting. Just a suggestion, you can covert the store into a wardrobe for MBR and BR2. Shift the MBR door near to the wardrobe, shift BR3 next to BR2. Have a open kitchen concept. I think this way you have privacy between the bed room and the hall. The store room can be built at the present MBR door position. Good luck and all the best to you. Hi BitterBeemer, congrats in getting a EM, are you intend to have the whole house fully air con? Or just the rooms? You need to know the btu of each system, with your floor plan the salesman should be able to advise you. There are many brands in the market, I'm sure there will have one suit your need. For 2 compressors will have to depend on your house electric load, you can check with hdb on this. Cheers

don't think it will damage the pipe, cause they only hack the tiles not the pipe. After relay will be swee swee and can conceal. Ask HDB if you still skeptical. Good luck.

The title sound like running away from something..LOL Anyway just have a thought of it and I've actually moved 8 times from the day I was born till now.... 1) Pasir Ris old kampong style when was born 2) Moved to Teochew street , very old shop house, about 4 years old then 3) Move to Hoy Fatt Road during primary school days, Blk 49. The longest block I ever see, maybe got 150m. 1 room flat with grand parents, parents and sibling. 4) Moved to Lengkok Bahru Blk 55, 2 room flat cause 1 more sibling on the way. High floor, Nice view, unblock till............... 5) Move to Jurong West, finally parent afford to own a 4 NG, too bad got enlisted and seldom stay home.. 6) Got married, my very first house 5 room in Pasir Ris, house was dam affordable during the 80's 7) Moved to Bukit Merah Central, Point block nice surrounding, cost a bomb.... 8) Moved to Jurong West (present) EM...hope to stay for long.. moving house and getting it done the way you want it is fun and exciting, hope to hear other members experience.
