    There are different brands and type of TV brackets. (Eg. some can tilt sideway and some can tilt up down) If you need it urgently you can go courts, mega discount store and etc to buy

    My progress is a little slower than yours due to some permit issue delay from HDB Think my house will be ready to handover in another week or 2 (exclude defect correction)

    You can consider doing a vertical shoe cabinet beside the window which will cost lower. (*Refer to my blog the vertical carpentry by the window) Under the window can consider to get a Ottoman or etc to put there.

    Will suggest you do a sliding door for the Walk in wardrobe area so you can save electricity when you on the Aircon. For the Living I will suggest don't do the column thing, really hard to maintain and clean the interval. This is personal preference and hope it helps.

    TB 2nd purchases was delivered. Dinning Table (Extendable) Dinning Chairs (1 of them is a little shaky, will try to resolve it at later stage) (*Thanks to the Carpentry Contractors who fixed them up for me)

    I agree that the flooring is great, got to give credit to my ID who chose them The workers have already left when I reach there, those are the tools which they leave behind as they will be coming back to work on it next day.

    Good luck for the Renovation. Any specifics which you will be doing ?

    After the Mild Steel is fabricate to size and shape, do the following : 1. Send for sandblasting (To clear the rust and other impurities) 2. Galvanizing (This act as a coat of protect over the mild steel to prevent it from rust) 3. Paint / Spray Paint the color you want over the Mild Steel (*Do 2 coating ) - You may need to add Primer before it (Not sure ) (*Usually Step 1 and 2 is done together at those Galvanizing Yard) Hope this helps.

    Its your house and Reno is not cheap, when things happen you tend to jump to conclusion but forgivable. Most important is have good communication with your ID. By the end of the Reno, give a fair assessment overview

    No worries, I think you do not need any approval for wooden platform based on the directives from HDB.

    I think quite a number of people have bad experience with furniture makers. It seems that they will promise a date which they are not sure just to clinch the sales in first which happen frequently. Good luck
