i bought a dining table+chairs at I-furniture for $1300..previously was quoted $1400+ at IMM. that time placed a $50deposit for that same dining set in Oct 07. Then got refund back cos we thought of shopping more then decide. Make a big hassle to collect the $50 deposit back now got back the same dining table+chairs. what a merry go round keke!! My Sealy mattress i bought 2 weeks ago at $2699. At expo, its selling at $2522. the same bedhead and mattress!! i need to do something abt this already keke. hmmm..conclusion, true leh, the price at expo was slashed alot for the furniture one bad encounter..me and my wife likes this sofa so much at "Sentat Trading (S) Pte Ltd". Its actually a 3seated sofa+1seated+1seated sofa (the 1seated sofa is like a rocking sofa, so elegant and nice). We are really keen at buying it, but the salesman is so pushy that makes me feel turn off. he keeps saying that they waived off gst transport blah blah blah. i shouted back that "dont tell me abt gst and transport leh, its not relevant at all, most companies nowadays absorbed these off for customer already". then after that me and my wife was discussing seriously abt buying it, and that 2 salesperson keeps "weng weng weng"-*buzzing* at us, so irritated. i decided to tell them i think abt it, asked them for their address and name cos i really shortlisted this sofa, i may go back to buy at their main showroom. Then the salesperson told me off that "$1300 i also cant afford now, if next time i go to their warehouse, the cost will be $2000+ already". he also say that i buy things even worst than auntie. so undecisive. While we are walking away, he continued to say that "aiya we cant afford to buy this sofa la" .. ( i was telling my wife, we dont buy is becos of the salesperson leh. anyway not shortlisting that sofa liao. go other shop to buy next week ) what a day..lol

i thought of going to expo to see the furniture..cos most of the funiture company is all gathered at expo, hope to get some idea on what kind of furniture suits my hse

i tried all the 3 big "S" mattress. All are so nice to sleep heheh this are some of the additional findings Simmons and Serta more firmer. more suitable for back sleeper Sealy they have softer range. more suitable for side sleeper my 2 cents worth

hahha ok later i go and check it out ya me and my wife was also discussing that day which height shall we put the accessories, so fun keke!!

the mirror beside my shoe cabinet is up. my fengshui master say my foyer must have a mirror, cos my hse is door to door, with the mirror facing door, i dont need to hang "ba gua" already =p

quite happy today..cos rectification work is done today. i have 3 tiles with abit of cut leg feeling is solved. so marvellous, thought its tough to rectify but its done is abt less than 15mins by the worker (3 groups of pple come to my hse today) 1st group: paint uncle doing 3rd layer of paint 2nd group: 2 guys come to do carpentry touch up i was abt to leave hse already, then suddenly another person came up to do tiles touch up, ended up i was v late for my badminton session =p hehe everything solved in 1 day

ya the tv point was swapped to another side of the wall, cos the original tv point need to place water feature instructed by my fsm also prefer my dining area to face tv too but now my sofa is on the "original tv point side". the wall has side pillar which is blocking abit of my sofa..i think i need to buy curve shape sofa liao. not easy to find leh, hai

Hi Xlan, u bought ur "Toshiba Regza 32" (32A3000E): $799" at super good deal leh.. i check it out at Best Denki, they are selling their 32A3000E at $1400+ so much difference ah

water feature in fengshui = to strengthen family relationship (was told by my fengshui shifu) every hse has different location to place their water feature, so better check it out with ur fsm hehe i sounds like a fengshui master hor? (no la, i just say whatever was told by my fsm)

hi phoenix, yup u r right, doesnt include lighting points i guess 1.3k for 5rm flat is quite reasonable la..cos 4rm already 1k~1.2k already
