actually it is not a good idea to ask for termination instead of resignation...it stick with you as long as you put the company in your resume and prospective employer do a check with the HR. If you want one month pay in lieu, what you can do is to resign and everyday make the person who want to sack you see you also sian until they offer to pay you to go immediately to rest at home..keke..

I think it just go for branded curtain shop if want more assurance and pay more or take more risk and pay less with no brand.. how to know if it is branded? I signed with a contractor for my EM reno at 45k. Heard from my cousin from an ID firm that it is consider cheap. However my requirement are quite simple as it is basically painting and flooring for the whole flat, built in kitchen and reno the 3 toilets.
