I think it is better to have a joint account SOLELY for expenses. Any amount. If your hubby earn more, ask your hubby to set aside a certain money. If you earn less, you may set aside lesser. This way, everymonth, there will be cash on the joint account. And the joint account can use to deducting bills, tnc charges, household items, etc.... It really come in handy. Very hard to calculate the cost of baby till pre school. Take 1 step at a one. Or else you and yuor spouse will be stress out.

Hi PUR Contractors/id always like that. Give lots of excuses saying this no good, that no good. Remember, you stay in the house, not them. And remember, you pay for it. And also never heard that undermount is not safe. Before I moved to jalan membina, my previous house sink also undermount, use it for more than 11 years, never heard sink drop. So, sont believe all those crap. Be firm, tell the contractor you want to do this, dont give me excuses. For the window grill, it is in the quotation. Dont by my contractor. Remember tiolet windor also do. Air con window also do. But I am sure your contractor will again say tiolet window nobody do want...tell your contractor bull sh.it. Hope it helps. Happy

Same comments by my contractor and I insist them drill 1 hole for me! They gave lots of reasons like collect dust. If got dust, then use vacunm to suck the dust our lor. And nearly quarrel with my contractor. The top latch? Maybe you try to call hdb? Your block (ground floor has a name and phone no. at the notice board), you may try to call him/her about your case.

Hi VIT, so far my metal gate is ok....dont have the prblem. You mean the top or bottom latch? For what I know, it is better not to latch the bottom. Latch on top will do. I dont know why as my contractor told me this.

Hi PUR 1) I ever saw my neighbour install storate heater inside the toilet. 2) It is better to under mount. easy to clean. Top mount afraid in long run, black fengui will appear in the silicon. 3) Window grills may types. I do cheap one, so long it can lock will do. (cos I have small kids around). 5 room cost about $900++. 4) Curtain...I am not sure cos I do the curtain and is badly done. Probably gonna change all the curtain again!!! Hope it helps. Happy

Yes, most of the house I went to (visit my friends and neighbours), all got tv in front of their bed. Some even got 42 inch lcd tv!!! Just cover it when no in use lah, that is what I read on line. Cover it with a cloth. Dont need to do any drastic change. A very simple and easy solution. Cover it when not in use.

Hi IVY, I couldnt say I am better luck or whatever. I believe everybody has their own luck. Your luck is different from mine. And also, my needs and wants also different from yours and others too. eg) I am very contented if my family and my kids are well and safe. And I have a job that financially able to support my family. I am happy already. Others might want to strike rich by having fsm audited the house. Others might want to have safe and sound family, etc.... Different pple, different wants. What matter most (my view) is when you family is safe and sound, in good health and your family members got stable jobs , that is a very good fengshui already. About the 4d at fu lu shou, I dont believe those thing. If I can predict 4d very very accurate, then I might as well keep it to myself. If that person can predict 4d for others, then those toto, turf club can close shop liao.

Can source already lah. Get more quote and compare. It is tiring and given the time you have, it is better to do it now...to spread out so that you wont feel stress out. 1 point you MUST do: 1) What you want. Make a list of what you want. Think carefully and list down what you want. eg) Mable floor? Granite floor, Laminate floor? Kitchen top granite? Solid top? etc.... Then use the same list and source for quotation. Hi IVY My goodness....you really suffer in the bad hands indeed. Hope right now you and your family are ok and blessing. Things like flying star, ba zhi, water, poision arrows lah...etc....really make pple very confusing. My house was audited also told my fsm told me many poision arrows, my windows must hang his items (hey, not cheap, quite expensive) and in total about 15 to 19 of them. Also my kitchen design make it very hard for us. Very awardward design. But if I live in bungolow, ok lah, kitchen sure very big. I live in hgb flat!!! Kitchen space already small. How? During that time, I keep looking at the diagram FSM gave me, I am unable to do my top cabinet...space lost!!! A few days later, I fax my ktichen cabinet design and my fsm say ok. I just huh??? Can huh? Ok huh? Funny right? Then my heart told me, if I go to my friends house and look the his window and outside surrounding, it still the same wat, many poision arrows....that prompt me not to buy any. So far, I only follow the painting, position of sleeping and the ceiling lights. The rest all did not follow. And my heart told me: Keep my house clutter free, clean and bright. That will do lah. I gonna install ceiling lights at two of the ceiling in my house (not according to the fengshui), but thru my own heart and feeling. Just install the lights. So that at night, can switch on the light to make it bright. I dont facny placing this and that, my house is not a shop. Good that you dump all and make you feel good. That is the purpose right? Must feel good and happy with family members. Tell you the true story. My aunt use to strike 4d often. On day, out of nowwhere, our nighbour, (a fens ghui master) came, see her house, asked her to shift the dinner table. You guess what? My aunt never strike any 4d from that day nowards!!! My mum told my aunt off, why shift when you are actually quite well off???? Now you shifted the dinning table and now, all gone liao!

Agreed. Many things still depends on each individual ba zi, spouse and children. Some pple ba zi can have this and that. While others cannot. And he/she so happy and they share over here, out of goodwill. While others maybe be not due to their ba zi not the same as him/she. For general ideas on fengshui tips, there are tons of web you can find in google. Over here, pple share their experiences and joy.

Yes, I do read online about feng shui. I only know very general...not those in details. But one thing I know, thru online and other pple comment, is that dont anyhow place water inside the house....... I am sorry that your life is in a mess when follow tips....that have to be careful indeed. I am a happy person? Well, generally I am a normal pple in the street. Normal life, family, works, peaceful. I never buy any fengshui stuff even my house has been audited with recommendation of having to buy this and that. What I usually advise pple is to have a clutter free house. Neat and clean. Very general point of view. Nothing to do with any ba zi or whatever.

I dont understand why you guys must fight over who's right and who's wrong. What gain you will get if you are right and if you are wrong? Just like martial arts schools, each school claim they are the best. You are best, his school are the best, no, mine are the best, no I am the best. etc....and then? FIght occured lor. In the end...what did they get? Nothing. If he win, so what? Right? Why make oneself unhappy? Life is short. Enjoy it. So long as you are happy, your family happy, prosperity and good health, breadwinner has job and all smooth, then that is the best feng shui you ever get no matter who is your fsm. Right? Hi NOBODY My house whole floor including the kitchen floor is done up using granite. Kitchen top is also granite using Imperial White granite. Now waiting for another 3 years before upgrade my toilet with counter top: Blue perl. So far, my floor granite is ok and shiny. Kitchen granite floor ok, not slippery probably we cook less except when my mum-in-law come to visit and cook everyday...but still not slippery and sticky. Unlike homo tiles...it kind of sticky and oily... Happy

Hi Derry I am so sorry to hear that! Hope everything's goes well to you and your family. But for me...I have my new house audited but I never buy any items from them. It simply too expensive and would not believe their assistance as she told me without buying the items, you will strike lottery after 3 years (something like that). Also, as you can see my post, I am asking GPP and others very general fengshui tips. And some of the tips are very general, no harm nor harming pple. And not go into extent of having your ba zi read and implement something that might change your life. I am here to learn general feng shui simple and easy to use tips. Anyway, I dont care whether strike or not. I only concern is to have a happy and healthy family. Got work and not retrench. Happy
