Sooo cute.. Anyway I noticed a difference between the yorkies & silky terriers Yorkies tend to be more delicate looking in their features which is what Oreo & Fifi have..ie; Doe eyed look.. The snout is also not broad plus got more 'whiskers' compared to my hubby's silky terrier.

LL neighbour: It's like the Jet lag culture so it will take time to adjust but I suspect that you'd prolly become like me. Sleep late, wake up early but running to catch the transport in time unless you drive to work that is. My workplace's somewhere near pasir panjang area So got to catch the transport at the nearest MRT stop that is. Make a guess to that hehehe

Hi Mace, Just wondering if you know of any remedy to remove 'scorch-like marks' that appears on vitroceramic hobs? I have this vitroceramic hob by Mayer. The Mayer staff say cannot use detergent to clean the hob. Can only wipe the hob with damp cloth followed by dry cloth after use. Those marks appeared after a few days of usage. Small spots at first & later slightly bigger marks, it might be due to the saucepan bottom though. I can't seem to remove those scorch-like marks that are obvious on the black glass though. Any remedy for it?

Greycat: Judging from the directions you give LLhome, I feel suddenly very lazy to go on such a walk. I haven't gotten my bearings on JW yet, having moved here recently. Kekeke, steady when the time comes to go LLhome's hse. !!

Eh, I spotted my name in the list Ranval, for the mini gathering, will confirm with you when the date gets nearer 'cos of my hubby. Don't know also if he will like to come 'cos he's not very comfortable with a big crowd. Hope that I can get to see Donut & Oreo soon then i dognap those 2 away.

Greycat: Kekeke you'd never know if we saw each other before in mrt or not. Just like those "passer-by" chances in movies. But agree mrt very PACKED by the time I reach MRT, somemore got to catch my company shuttle at my destination. Aiya.. I would sometimes miss my company's shuttle & die die have to take cab down 'cos my superiors bery sticky on punctuality. That why I cannot afford to be late & need to aim a place in the MRT every morning, not to mention cab fares is really ex with the morning peak surchages. LL neighbour: My hubby's case okay though, just a bit of pain & discomfort. Expect some swelling if you're pulling out wisdom tooth. Like cantona & applefreak mentioned, cannot afford to be out of society for too long or else end up having no 'real skills' to compete & survive. Women need to earn their $ so that they'd have their own savings to depend for the 'What Ifs' situations/emergencies, should something happen to their loved ones. Not to mention some women become breadwinners & its really tiring to financially care for a family esp with kids. So don't waste the education & skills le. You try taking this job first then move on to a job with better prospects later on.
-
Speaking of that, my hubby had to pull out several wisdom teeth due to in-growing of new tooth & decayed tooth last time I think. The dentist told my hubby he'd had to pull out 'cos if delay pulling out, there's a chance he'd might lose his sense of taste. So end up pulling out 4 from the top and bottom corners. It was also quite painful for him & he couldn't eat any solid food for a week also. (Best thing for him was that he was on MC for 1 week)

Hmm Only problem is would mechanism stall after a while since can get rusty and etc blah blah? Then scary no bed to sleep on for sometime liao.
-
Wah, then it must be tiring trying to have the bed down everyday.
-
Skywolf: Think a similar WIW concept would have to be like LLhome's WIW cos the layout of WIW is very near the bed if I am seeing it correctly? Or else instead of a L-Shaped WIW like LLhome's, you can have 2 straight wardrobes facing each other that creates a passageway to the toilet. But it means you need to sacrifice some space meant for other things just for the wardrobes alone if adopt this 2 parallel WIW type

Hehehe sidetrack a bit only. Now I wonder how to remove such marks> But waiting for pics of your sofa!

Skywolf & Ranval: It's a matter of preference about whether having a platform bed or not but like I mentioned before, the cons does outweigh the pros in a way. If we'd do the comparisons that is :- Pros: 1. Don't need to spend $ on bedframe. Only the mattress + bedsheets + mattress protector that all. 2. Can shift mattress to anywhere. Less heavy to lift compared to bedframe. 3. More space saving & cosier sleeping close to the floor esp if its on laminate/paraquet floor Cons: 1. Bad for asthmatic people & those with sinus problems 2. More chances of health problems primarily to dusts accumulating underneath and all around. 3. Not good for pregnant women. Need support to get up and lie down also with a heavy tummy. 4. Dust, dirt can fly to bedsheets faster than those with beframe 'cos walking around with bare feet will inevitably be dirty & especially for those who love eating in bed. 5. Must do cleaning often to ensure that the surrounding areas are clean. Haha about the bedsheets part, my hubby 1/2 sian already 'cos I kept looking at bedsheets and other items when we were waiting for keys. We even bought our bedsheets earlier, the one with patterns which is shown in the photos I posted in my t-blog. (Quite spider right?) Wardrobe wise, you can try apple's suggestion and see what you can take from there also.

I also don't know what to bring also for hsewarming events? Wah all having bets already over the dogs? I don't know how to play sooo I can only be a bystander and dognap the dogs better.

Wooo I see super long posts here today. Kekeke Just back from dinner. I have this autospray freshener in lemon. Can tell you that, the scent is only stronger at night while daytime not so strong. My hubby's dog also got this doggie scent and its kinda obvious in the kitchen. So have to clean the kitchen floor and spray this yucky cologne thing left by my father in law, onto the spot where the dog pees. This is to prevent the dog from peeing on the same spot again. Summer hates the smell so will avoid at all costs. So far, he's doing his biz on the newspaper at the kitchen. The autospray freshener is slightly better than the handheld one and keeps the odour of Summer less noticeable. Neighbour ah, if you want to take up the job, maybe you'd should let your ger be more independent. Both of us are working so summer's left on his own at home. I will be more careful leh, no worries about this, you also. Yup learning to cook. My hubby says that it's cheaper to cook at home than eat out though. I asked him just now during dinner. Greycat, yep I'm online at nights on weekdays 'cos I'm usually rushing to aim a place in the MRT every morning somemore.

The divan consist of 2 mattress together like a sandwich that is except bottom one is a base with no legs. Abit like bluberi's bedframe except hers got legs. Hmm, to be frank, lying on mattress that is on the floor gives a feel of coziness & it doesn't feel cramped when looking at the ceiling that is. But the cons more or less outweighs easily, Dust, sensitive nose through prolonged periods of usage. It prob might have effects in later age that is. I don't know how the effects will be like for those getting older.
-
Why your hubby don't like bedframes? Whether its sunken or not, the main thing is as long as the mattress is on the floor, its still nearer to the floor. Quite easy for your hubby's nose to be super sensitive after a while. Not to mention that you got to make sure floor is very clean or else you'd have the occasional insect. I suppose a divan might suit your hubby's taste 'cos can opt for no bed head + it's just supported by a base that looks like a mattress underneath if you need more alternatives that is.

Oreo looks very handsome! Esp with ears up and the hairs on the ears sort of lend a rugged look to oreo's handsome look. Donut, very easy. Just play games with donut for a while till he gets in the mood totally. He will be really delighted for the companionship to give a smile like this.

TYM, wow still ex for a study table though but really nice. Skywolf is correct on the meaning of whimsical. It's literally like being in a settee and charmed by all kinds of fairy characters.
-
LOL told your hubby about it? He might want to consider a bedframe after hearing this part about changing bedsheets and cleaning underneath. By the way, you got to clean underneath regularly cos can accumulate dust easily. It's like that due to humidity and air one. It's also not suitable for asthmatic people. This is another con.

Greycat, yup quite funny that I wished that I had a video cam to tape it down at that time. Don't give in to Yuki's hungry look. From experience, dogs show the hungry look when smelling all those nice nice human food in the house after a while. So temptation is very easy for them unless got a very disciplined dog which only responds to dog treats. ] LL neighbour, wah you spoiling your ger leh. I also am guilty of it too when it comes to my own doggie except she don't show her hungry look. !! Apple, 1st time I hear of a cat which loves PRAWNS! Summer, my hubby's dogs is totally nuts about oranges! My previous dog was totally nuts about bananas though
-
Bluberi, very tiring indeed based on your description but then again you got so many items that just came with the bedframe + mattress which more or less worth it. But when it comes to changing bedsheets, it must be MORE tiring to lift the mattress up just to tuck the sides underneath 'cos the thicker the mattress, it will be quite heavy to lift especially for petite ladies. This said, I think skywolf might want to take note of this if she want to get 14" mattress cos 14" mattress are quite thick and heavy~~~

Ah, so you have some experience with vitroceramic types. I have a query to that. I also have vitroceramic hob from mayer but biggest problem is that there appears to be scorch like marks on the black glass hob after cleaning the hob when we're done with cooking. How do I remove those marks? Can advise?

Nipponho, speaking of drawer storage types, I have this queen sized bed with 2 storage drawers at the front. Can see it in my T-Blog. However the storage drawers is not the deep type but sufficient to put bedsheets and a pillow in each drawer When I was there, I didn't see any storage bed, primary 'cos I saw mostly dark walnut sturdy bed frames as what they have on catalog may not be in their showroom. There are all kinds of bedframes like platform for eg. I think there is the hydraulic ones like you mentioned in their catalog when I was looking through. My advice is that if you're looking for storage beds, you would need a very sturdy bedframe with support for storage. The bed which I got is about equivalent of SGD 600++. If include in bedside tables, around SGD800+ Hope this helps.

Hello ladies! I see you all so active during the day! Today's a cold day and all I could barely keep my eyes wide open since its best to sleep in during cold weathers heh. Neighbour ah, Umbrella only the weapon I ever bring out. I'm quite a bochap person at times so always a bit heck care but this time got to be really alert until my future neighbours move in. My hubby is better than me at cooking, I know nothing about cooking personally 'cos I never go near the kitchen when my mum is cooking when I was younger. Now I'm trying to make up for lost time by learning cooking slowly 'cos I realised that cannot afford to keep eating out too much + not healthy with MSG in outside food. (Not very successful with food attempts ) Your dog is very cute. Got soulful look somemore even when looking very sheepish. Greycat, it looks orangey but not the darker orangey light. It's lighter and I guess closer to a T5 after staring hard enough at the lights. Your cousin is your neighbour also? Power leh. Can have a 'complaint' king/queen in this case. !!

That study table, you got from where? what's the cost? Must say that this victorian dressing table complete with the mirror is really compact & whimsical.
