Wow nice colour combination esp the door~! Actually packing and unpacking is a tedious chores. Alot of things to throw away before packing cos there are alot of items that are no use to bring over. Unpacking even worse, unpack clothes, got to fold them and put into new cupboard..Then all those misc things put here and there not to mention extra cleaning up at the end.

For your oven queries, wouldn't it be easiest to check with the shop where you bought the oven from? Im sure that other than delivering, they do installation unless their display model does not have any screw on.

Ah, Im a very neutral person. So I probably would go for the brown colour 'cos 80% of my wardrobe is all black. 10% is other colours such as yellow, blue, pink. 10% is white. In fact if you observe the colours in your friend's wardrobe, it is quite easy to choose the colour based on the colour combination for mix and match. It also reflects the personality of the recipient in fact. But if I were to choose a cheerful colour combination, I will go for pink~!

The Pink colour is nice for a girl while the brown one suited for a guy. The other 2 are a little garish looking for colours but would suit for colouful characters anyway. It depends on who is the recipient of the scarf/muffler.

Your curtains are very nice. Maybe I get this type of material for my 2nd curtain set when its time to change. Kekeke

Lol, I think you've fully adapted to the working society after a long hiatus, so welcome back to the working lifestyle ya? His fits was due to his liver problem, so summer was put on medication & injection for a while. He's doing well at my in law's place. Currently a very hyperactive & naughty dog so much that my mother in law say very hard to control summer. hahaha. (Maybe its cos there's always someone at home) Should bring ginger out for walks, this way she feel showered with attention with both of you as her "parents" beside her.

wah black kitchen, looks the glossy kind. Ya graphics will show what the carpentry works will look like but the measurement is not precise since its more or less based on scaling ruler ratio than the actual sizing in reality.
-
Its not a big issue about moving in with or without furniture after handover cos your place is more or less done up with lighting, electricity & ya the heater. I moved into mine even though it meant that we'd had to sleep on the floor for a few days before the furniture arrived. hehehe.

More maintenence cleaning every week then, you can mark my words cos i bet your sister and mum will not like those patches. I'm quite particular about it myself even though Im a bit of a lazy bummer myself hehehe.

wah looks very nice! Esp the pool table. Im so jealous! Can entertain guests like this. The kitchen is my idea combi for baking! Pics of the rooms?
-
Im looking forward to the pics of your completed home with furnitures in that is. hee.

You know... your mum & sis will be doing some basic cleaning every week to clean the wardrobe interior if the wardrobe interiors are all walnut colour like the outside. 'Cos walnut colour can easily show ALOT of dust moulds appearing on the ceiling, sides and bottom. I have a similar wardrobe to your sis's & its all walnut colour for the interior. Its kinda scary looking at those dust moulds often so have to air the insides as often as possible. Its always better to have white interiors though. Btw nice coffee table & tv console.

The wonders of makeover! Hee show us more pics of the renovation process. PS: your home is going to be a little varied with differing personalities for sure.

Hmm if its from supreme, it should be the same. Its okay lah, don't have to check for the colour of the flooring, what matters is you're happy with it.
-
lol you also never keep in contact with me even though we're living near each other. I miss ginger too. Summer is not staying with us now. He's back to staying at my in law's place as he had epileptic fits suddenly of all a sudden. I think cos he cannot get used to staying at our place + we both cannot give him alot of time as we're both busy with work.

I can assure you Olive green is a nicer choice than monchromatic or neutral colour. I saw this colour before in a loft themed apartment on flickr once. I totally liked the effect it had on the bedroom based on the photo. Besides your light is likely to be a warm yellow light since I don't know if you can stand the glare of white bulb shining on you from the wire pendant ma. The guifei portrait is very special to be displayed in what i think is the void deck right?

no need to thank me, I just say the truth. hehe. If you do work on along the decor parts I mentioned before, you should consider the colour of the wall which the bedhead is going to rest against. 1 wall in a specific colour works better for more drama (For eg; olive green. Its a subtle colour.) while the rest of the walls are better off in white. Can even hang a clutter of pictures on them. Hehehe Im thinking too far out but if your budget allows, you can try playing with ideas to get your concept right. And bedsheets part, pampering yourself is a must! Check out the designs as well. I sort of acquired a tendency to look at bedsheets ever since I got my current place. Too cosy already.

Ya I agree with ranval too. (I can't catch up with reading personal blogs, too time consuming & it takes time to backtrack everything just to get a sequence of the story in the end) Your blog is however entertaining though. I read a few of your postings before & the name brainy bimbo is very catchy as well. You could be an editorial editor of some magazine given your flair for your expressive entries. Oh yes, your room light is very special with the wire hole part. Gives me the feeling that your bedroom is going to have a partial gothic-victorian theme or style like that. Think white bed, black bedsheets with abstract patterns, striking rug, bedside table lamps that have a distinctive victorian style patterns.

Ah sorry for late reply! Just noticed this. AC3 is cheaper but used only in bedrooms where human traffic is not so high.. ie; constant movement of furniture for rearrangement and that. That's why AC5 is usually used in commercial buildings from what I heard. I'm also using african black for the bedrooms, it seems that this particular colour is quite popular & some forumers have used this for their homes already..

Very nice! Wonder what design would look good on baby blue walls?
-
No problem!

No don't have music but comes with the Doraemon lights & light base where you power on the light with the tree sitting in it. The accessories are separate but quite cheap, about 2 dollars + for a packet at the same place where i got the tree.

CPE, sorry for the delay in uploading this video of the xmas tree as promised cos had been trying to find a way to upload videos online. Video http://img531.imageshack.us/my.php?image=v...20780515qa8.flv Upclose picture of Doraemon light

Eh how do I upload videos online? Im trying to upload to imageshack but cannot cos of version difference. Anyone can suggest which site i can upload videos like imageshack without needing to sign up? Picture-wise doesn't do it good cos the tree turns round and round so not easy to get a clear shot. So i recorded a short video of the xmas tree better.
