True true... I know what you meant... my hse gone thru painting last yr so now the aircon trunkings and wall electrical trunking blends in. Top i cant see coz now got cornices. I asked my dad why they did cornices last time. He said hide wires and pipes for living rm. But when i asked him why rms, he dun hav an ans. I think only synchronise w the whole unit bah. Luckily false ceilings is out in those rms. Coz for some reason, the ceiling seems lower than my parent's unit lehz.

Iron once a mth. But then if you allow the wet clothes to drip dry or the way you hang @ the poles play a part. Don't crumble together lor. Less chance of more lines bah - or so i console myself.

Oh dear... perhaps you may want to see if they can do something abt it? Highlight to them for kids next time, etc...

Speaking of white transparent ones... my mum accidentally added dunno what solution to the white curtains (dirty so washed it), ended up became baby blue. Now matched the walls and relatives asked us where we bought it from. Dunno want to try or not. Haha!

Do you get to choose the pebbles? I have this small strip of pebble mix separating the study and living rm because the existing flooring is marble (not able to find exact shade of tiles n replacing w marble is quite exp). Or is it the way they mix the cement with the pebbles and the sharper ends happen to jut out?

But then you'll have some time to yourself, for a rare spell. Clear some stuff that normally whd be disrupting when yr boys are in?

3rd time amended liao. But still put wrong addy on the top. now is alightly above 35k. Thinking can do w/o cornices for the 2 bedrms n study. I look-see Kajua's pics and saw tt w/o cornices the wiring tubing is still acceptable leh. So i dunno wor. If without these, then can be 34+. Dilemma....

Hi Kajua, Nice to hear tt that light is still as powder-ful as last time. Btw, your spare bedrms has no cornices to hide the wirings? I was debating whether to do or not for the 2 bedrms and study... Initially wanted to hide them, then after seeing yrs seem it's still ok to do without. Can save me the $. Can i know how where will you be doing the curtain rods? Above the windows or at the top of ceiling/edge? Some of my windows have this height b/w the windows and ceiling... and not sure if ready made 1/2 curtains comes in that size (from ceiling till cover windows). Any idea? Have you been to their office too? I think i got them to revised till 3rd time liao. But he still put my place as pasir ris instead of tampines!!

W/o GST. I think yah, laminated. There are 2 kinds. 1 is the hollow ones @ 190, if solid one is $220 (also incl installatiom lockset n handles). Saw my scribblings on the paper? I dun like bi-fold coz encountered some of these doors which after a while have to push really hard to lock the door when you are inside the toilet. So chged to upvc ones, which are those provided by hdb when they do hse upgrades. My aunt in AMK has hers done up HDB and it's those elderly friendly kind. When you want to lock the door, you turn down the handle. And it folds in 1/2 also. Half-bi-fold? My mbr bathrm door is using glass. If nth goes wrong, shd b w Steven liaoz.

Do you guys remember where was the tread abt not using that rubber thingy at the bathroom's glass panel? The thing that sort of hold yr glass panel in place at the sides... I remember sinks also have to use it. But for the life of me i suddenly can't remember what is it called! Anyway, are there any ways to avoid it? Or really bobian one? :lol:

Just sent you the plywood door designs... looks like the ones u mentioned... And yah, comes w lockset and long handle (those 5 designs are long handles de). And + installation and removal of old doors. Wood for toilet? U joking ah...? I used UPVC... top up $180 coz e resale pckg comes w normal bi-fold which i dun like.

P6 got the plywood version @ $190 w/o gst. As i'm getting 4 doors, tt's e price she quoted me. Not sure if more doors cheaper or not. The url is for veneer so we dropped e idea. Cheap cheap is the way to go... Not sure if i have the price @ e catalogue i got coz not the range we wanted. At night then i can check for u. I dunno if they got do frame bo... Call and ask kaiwen?
