you are right, there are BIG pipes in the toilets, need to apply for permit to hack bah but cannot dun hack cos it is just tooo small..1 toilet with 2 doors so whoever going to the toilet will have to lock both told liao leh but all come out is more than my budget guess is due to hacking and carpentry..need to reduce more leh, gave up study table / shelf and thinking to give up shoe cabinet too..still need 35K (not inclusive of electrical)... how much you spent on your reno?

oh is actually a L-shaped sofa brought from Seahorse = Hecom didnt bear to throw away when we brought another so moved to study room.. can sit, can sleep (cos is L-shaped) and i think it cost just $350+ think you can still get it at the shop..but i think this is not so suitable for living room window or balcony.. still sourcing leh..Gina gave us a quote which is quite beyond our budget, minus this and that still need 39K++ she is a very nice and helpful person but my pocket hole will be very x 100 big leh just came back from ideal house, theirs also not the cheapest, minus this and that still need 35K but i think husband prefer this ID..everything not firm yet, will see how it goes more pictures pls

my proposed floor plan: pardon me for the super ugly drawings, i am really not a very creative person 1) hack toilets 2 into 1 (cos the current 1 is too small le) 2) hack store and change into WIW 3) hack wall between living and kitchen and extend dining area 4) hack all tiles 5) study table / feature wall / shoe cabinet etc 6) electrical / plumbing / painting / plastering etc rest of the basic items not mentioned.. any suggestions (good or bad) will be much appreciated my budget 30K for all the above, is it too little?? cos my quotes all more than 30K

sorry a bit slow to spam, duno the number what liao waiting to see your WIW leh, so your common room became WIW? mine also 3 room, but only hacking away the storeroom to make it into WIW as may have frens or family coming over to stay at times, so doesnt want to risk to hack away the other room. morever need to have study area too.. how big is your WIW? as in inches? most of IDs quoted mine as 11.5ft (L-shaped) and YES YES its every girl's dream to have that..my current house 4 room but never tot of having WIW 6 years back and now moving to 3 room and i gonna have WIW.. FINALLY all my quotes came to around 35-40K haven finalised yet but WIW must have btw, will you be having those baskets or shelves like that can push and pull in & out? (hope you know what i am referring to, those ikea like to use 1 leh) cos i think will have to spend yet another sum of $ on that as i think ID provide only those basic..want more = pay $ really looking forward to your completed WIW my shoe cabinet also quoted as 6.5ft and i asked how many shoes it can contained, ID said 20+ to 30+..but still not enough leh..

Bluefly--> once again thanks for the picture my concern too if change the chute after reno cos mine will have tiles too..by looking, i think we cant change BEFORE reno as the outer lining of the chute seems to be covering part of the tiles wor.. maybe i can arrange for the chute to be change BEFORE reno but problem is that they may scratch the chute when tiling or hacking...if i were to tell ID that i am getting others to do the chute, then some co-ordination will be required on my part.. aiya, hint to ID ah..they will give you FOC for this but others charged more expensive..back to square 1..lolz GoalHome--> thought of something too, webby stated $99 nett including installation right? how about dismantling the old 1? never tot of that too until husband remind me my conclusion--> want to save $ this will become my problem..pay $ to other, let them settle the problem.. wow you gave me your virgin post..keke for me still ok as both of them are more to toy breed and they are not barkish unless garang guni man past by..actually both of them are licensed (1 under my home address, the other under my in law address) in fact, only one was licensed previously but after AVA announced that the compound fee for 1 dog increased from $500 to $5000 i got worried, just registered my boy ( i cant afford $5000!!) i went to my new flat and saw that my neighbour also got dog, think mine can find new friends le..overall i think if your dogs doesnt dirty the common area and dun kaciao, they wouldnt bother la but i also read about some nasty neighbours will complain for nothing wan..best is you go and get licence for both of them la, safer this way thanks for your encouragement will come to you all again if i encounter problems, this forum indeed help me to get more more information
