  1. Bro - is it tough / challenging for Tim to coordinate with your ID? Or can just straight away ask Tim's guys to start installing trunking before actual reno starts? Thanks.
  2. Yup. We are still looking around for IDs.. no real hurry cause need to finish the defects first. I realised my neighbours on the same floor mostly havent started reno too!
  3. Woah how do you manage the logistics of that? Like your belongings and where to sleep?
  4. Thank you both. Cause my quote doesnt include one of the more branded type of vinyl tiles so I was wondering whether there are any significant differences aside from the brand itself.
  5. Wow all this for $27k and below? How much carpentry did you have done for your non-master bedrooms?
  6. Is it important to get Herf vinyl tiles as compared to other normal vinyl tiles like high density fibre boards?
  7. Looks like a very good price for what you're doing! Looking forward to more updates. All the best with your reno
  8. I would suggest being upfront with the contractor, i.e. asking him what went on to assess his response to it. If he is honest about it then I will continue with him since the issue doesn’t look indicative of any potential workmanship issues or being complained about. Otherwise best to be wary of people who may appear to have ethical issues. It may surface in other areas during the project
  9. Interesting post. I also have the same questions. My wife wants to make sure the ID has similar taste to her but before we confirm with any ID, likely wont get any 3D renders. Then how to know whether the ID has taken our preferences into consideration and is able to turn it into reality? LOL
