  1. Wah applefreak...your blog so happening one ah...muz visit more often. Heehee...
  2. Mine is also white solid top, now worried about maintenance. That day got a red stain and took a while to come off. Used to use dark grey with speckles and dirty also don't know (good or bad depends on how you see it, haha)...I was not around when their did the installation but they did told my mum how to take care but she cannot remember what they say liao. Maybe you can ask your ID how to maintain the white solid top and share with us.
  3. 1K! My brother told me will be around there loh if full timber, so trying to see if got other ways. Somemroe he told me timber cost has increased this month.
  4. Good question, I do not have the answer either...hahaha...but usually see people use kerb to block the water, maybe nicer and better, I don't know. But so far without the kerb working ok for me. If door break got kerb no kerb also will break right? That is how I feel, but me layman, so also don't know what is the implication. My brother say can so I do it. Ya, the wardrobe fittings is a bit different, kinda of fresh look we feel, versus the normal everything wood cabinets. Hi, tot I PM you the wellmax guys contact before? The aircon guys..hmm..don't really want to recommend, they do an ok job, but I think there should be better contractors out there. As for the shower screen, kitchen cabinets, electrical, I do not have their contacts, all handled by my brother, lucky me.
  5. Wow blackapple, you reno very nice, drooling over it liao. Would love to box up all the pipings if we go the money, but guess gonna live with it. Next best things is to paint all white, hahaha... I love your bomb shelter feature, can should how you open the door? How much does it cost huh? Still haven't decide how to do that part yet even though we have already moved in.
  6. Wow...looks like you are almost ready for the big move.
  7. For me is to save cost, having a kerb means more $$ involved, since they say not necessary I went without the kerb. The pipe is actually aircon pipe, what I am referring is the rectangular opening for water outside the shower area to flow into the water-trap. Sorry if the pipe gives the wrong idea. Recommended to this by my brother. Alumix is a modular wardrobe system, and they have another system call Ximula (note it's the reverse of Alumix) which is I think a more expensive one. Mine was around $1400 for a 6ft wardrobe. Door is 6 ft but the internal fittings is not coz need to cater for the vertical bars.
  8. Shower Screen Hole to allow water from outside the shower screen area to get into the water-trap.
  9. Hopefully by nightfall you are still in 1 piece and alive and kicking !!
  10. www.yee-sin.com $270. It's custom fit L-shape. Just tell them the dimension (measure the floor) and they will come down to fix. NOT those high class boltless type but will do the job for me.
  11. Ya..seems like they also not actively promoting it. I only know when this cashier was quite slow so I looking around the cashier area and read about it. Everytime I pay also they will not ask, I have to tell them I am a member. **** lousy service, unlike McDonalds. Haha...but Mcds also no more member liao

    Drill Wall

One of the reason could be it hit a hard rock/stone. Try hammering it with a strong steel nail (those big ones) and try to drill again. Usually should not be the case with hammer drill but no harm trying.
  13. Oh ya...I still got the mini ones leftover.
  14. Door bell/chime Original from HDB Hacking to remove the round backing Round backing removed Install new sqaure conceal backing All done! TV Console
  15. Bathroom Master Toilet Water Heater Common Toilet Water Heater Master Toilet Cabinet and Mirror Common Toilet Cabinet and Mirror
  16. Wallpaper Living Room - for TV Master Bedroom - for bed Legrand Switch Picture before touch up Damaged Socket Starhub came to install an additional SCV point, mis-calculated and drilled right through this socket, notice the missing on/off switch. Thank God the wires are unaffected.
  17. My Storeroom Rack (aka BS - Bull**** Shelter)
  18. Welcome to the neighbourhood! The chair Ikea cheap cheap leh, $8.95 if I am not wrong. Curtain and rods = DIY + off the shelf, so cannot advise. Grilles - Service Balcony looks like an easy point of entry. Or you can just do windows, those slide and open type (sliding cum casement). At least help to deter coz grilles also quite useless if the thief wants to come in but without it makes it even easier. Welcome to the neighbourhood (soon)! Just hope everyone comes on time and not at the same time.
