Dear Iamken, i just finished my renovation of A&A on my 2 storey inter terrace house. It was a very old run down 50years old house . I skip the archi design part because i have budget restriction which can save me est $30K for the design fees. I design it myself and it is now completed and its look like a brand new showhouse. ?. So my advise is to go direct to builder to save all the money cause as you mentioned it was just a terrace house and the value cant increase because of who who designer.... Enjoy your renovation. hi all, i was thinking is good to share my renovation experience here. As I bought a 50 years old landed house and looking around for a contractor inside the renotalk. I ask around here and comparing a few contractors recommended from the bro and sis here even got the 2 Mr K . Finally i got a good contractor and not ID because it can save a lot directly liase with contractor and not ID company. If you are not lucky even a ID company will not give you a nice design of house and Furthermore have to spend a bomb. I have very happy with my renovation and happily staying inside now and no need to cause me a bomb. I can use these money for my furniture ..... ?

hi wendy, Congratulation to you found a good contractor. I agreed with you. I am now headache cause just bought my home and used up all my saving and cpf and even on huge loan with bank.
