Estimation Cost For A 5rm Premium Reno

Hi All

I wish to do the following for my new 5 rm flat .. however how sure what is price range i should expect

1. Hack MBR wall

2. WIW for MBR

3. Platform for MBR

4. Feature wall for TV

5. Basic kitchen cabinet + sink etc

6. Painting.

7. Lighting works.

any1 done similar reno before can enlighten me ?

it's been a while since i've done my renovation

so i'm not too sure about the current market rate

however, just wanted to bring up this

if you hack the wall, you either got to find the same tile to replace the area, or you gotta think of a way to 'hide' the area

also, cost totally depend on how big everything is

the cost of a platform that's the size of a queen size bed and a platform that's the size of the entire bedroom can differ in the thousands

Application for PE cost $280 - $350

additional cost for hacking a door-size wall is $250-300, inclusive of smoothen surface and touching up and make good of wall and floor tiles if any damage in process.

i think ard $1K?, i initially wanted to do it, but then i dropped the idea, i think there is a standard height for the platform by hdb, if u do too high, next time they will ask u to hack the platform away when u sell hse.

4. Feature wall for TV

depends wat kind feature wall. tey measure by per foot run.

5. Basic kitchen cabinet + sink etc

per foot run for cabinet is $90 for solid plywood cabinets.

solid surface is $70 per foot run, granite is ard $100

sink u have to buy ur own and ask them to install, installation of sink and connection of sink tap, runing inlet and outlet pipe - 90% contractor/ID give FOC, but got 2 of them charge me over $200 for it

6. Painting.

for my 4 room hse is $800 for any selection of 5 colors, ICI emulsion paint.

7. Lighting works

each additional light point is $25-30,

installation of each light (light u have to buy urself) is not more than $8.

btw, im getting a 4 room premium flat with floorings done. my reno cost, is not going to exceed $ 12K (inclusive of ALL lightings, and false ceilings), im sure urs can be within 15K.
