Preliminary Reno Budgeting

Hello fellow forummers, im a newbie and just got my resale 4rm (105 M2)flat which i intend to do some reno to make my house look clean and simple....intend to do some careful budgeting as my pockets are not deep. would appreciate if anybody can give a rough guide on how much it would cost for the below activities..:

Hack the floor of living room and 3 bed rooms

Hack floor and walls of kitchen

Hack floor and walls of 2 toilets and remove basins and toilet bowl

Lay 60 X 60 homo tiles for living room and 3 bedrooms floor

Lay ceramic tiles for kitchen, install basic kitchen sink and stove..

Lay rough tiles for 2 toilet and install (new showerhead, basins and toilet bowl) X 2

Make the wall smooth and painting of whole house.

Simple lightings installations of whole house..lights decided to get from IKEA

would really sincerely appreciate some indication of how much these activities cost under a contractor......thanks alot..

Sure no problem, but have to take into consideration how much things to hack off and it's better to bring your contractor to have a look at your place 1st before asking him to quote you. My quote for hacking quite high due to ex-owner left back a lot of wall cabinets and i want to remove every single item.

I suppose it's included of debris removal/ haulage... never stated in my quotation. Waterproofing works as below:

Sure no problem, but have to take into consideration how much things to hack off and it's better to bring your contractor to have a look at your place 1st before asking him to quote you. Then you need not worry so much on the cost of hacking.. in fact you can ask for reduced $$ if you feel they quote you on the High side.

$3000 including waterproofing, haulage and clearing of debris.

Lay 60 X 60 homo tiles for living room and 3 bedrooms floor

Labour to lay tiles - $3900, owner to provide tiles. Tiles should cost ard $3000-$4000.

Should be ard $2000.

Any idea how much it will cost for a 5I flat? 121 sq m.
