haha congrats!!! furniture coming in is a big big big milestone! hehe. make sure u jaga the delivery ppl. mine were all very careful, cos i keep asking them whether need to add more cardboard to protect my floor or not. they pull in one item, i adjust the cardboard, they pull in another item, i adjust again.

after washing my floors now, they will put the cardboard to protect while the furnitures move in?

i not sure leh. for me, i used all the cardboard boxes i had from shifting stuff and just lay them on the floor. check with ur contractor?

haha....protection just use tons of old newspapers if you don't have cardboards...

better do urself...not alot of effort in doing it. But alot of effort is required to make rectifications when furniture guys screw up (which happens often).

i am already in constant shortage of newspapers for dogs pee area liao. how to come out with so much spare ones ah.

i already a part time karang guni liao, except i dun make a profit from newspapers.

gimz, so how do you rate your carpentry ah? i need a gauge on the workmanship before it start commencing.

for me, i just take from my dad's newspapaper collection...hahaa

oh, we got a carpenter to do kitchen cabinets instead, since my friend had lobang.

i think i saw a thick roll of cardboard type material still in my place.

should be using that one bah.

i am hoping that everything will be smoothly done and move in by the end of this month

cardboard type material shld be ok. make sure its not too thin, or else also no use. and remember to remind, double remind, triple remind the delivery ppl to be careful and don't scratch ur floor.

ah, one more thing, ur chairs, sofa and all, if the legs is metal, or if u scared scratch floor, buy those round flat rubber things to stick to the bottom of the legs.
