Extreme Makeover @ Pandan Gardens

Recommended Posts

Yes, you are right.

I took a few pictures this morning with my iphone to explain what it means and how my electrician programmed the lights in my MBR:

The main switch and the default setting; the 3 downlights at entrance walkway of my Master Bedroom:

pgl0_a03_uc4it.jpg

Programming sequence for the rest of the lights:

17rj_7d6_uc4it.jpg

If I am using the remote control, I just leave the main switch ON, and press the button A, B, C or D on the remote control device to switch ON and OFF, with one press only.

Thanks for the pic and explaination... now i got a clear pic... I will tell my electrician what to do...

Hi, sgwong

In my humble opinion, it is not the ID firm that matters. This is because there is always a mix of so called 'good' and 'bad' ID's in every firms, even in those renowned firms recommended by forumers here. Some IDs will take up the 'Sales' process, and once you inked the contract, it is handled by their project team.

Also very important evaluation criteria is how well our ID has handled referenced projects for his customers, and the feedback on his service, his prompt follow up action & active project management, as well as our "click' factor.

To my understanding, their office called me up in between our renovation to check on my ID's performance, getting feedback from customers to see where they can improve their service. <img src="http://www.renotalk.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

So far, with a bit of luck & affinity, I am happy with the service my ID has provided and his dedication in taking care of the whole reno process.

I have PM'd you his full contact details. Good luck to you if you are searching for ID / ID's firm. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)"

Most of the forumers / friends here know that I learnt and practised feng shui and I applied it in my home.

In one of the earlier post, I mentioned that the Annual Flying Star #5 resides in my Master Bedroom this year. This is a potent star also known as the 5 Yellow Star and if activated, may bring a whole range of woes from financial loss to unexpected obstacles, calamity, misfortune, serious repercussions, etc.

As the #5 Yellow is so powerful, some FSM even suggested to move out of the bedroomroom during the time it is under its influence. But, to me, so long as I don't activate it, there is nothing to fear about.

Having said that, you can't believe what happened last Saturday morning when the electrician came to replace the faulty remote control for the lights in my MBR!! :jawdrop:

I will share the story in a short while, after I download the photographs taken during the process. Stay tuned!! :jawdrop:

Hi Mae:

Sounds serious.

Remember reading about your analysis of your sister's potential house.

Very enriching. Looking forward to more.

Hi, dinobros

Thank you for reading my blog here.

I have one audit done for an office to share. For this office, landforms take precedent over formula!! I will tell you why I forgo the flying stars formula and use only 'common sense'. That's so simple & easy to make Ang Pow $$, but I spent 3-4 Saturdays for site measurements & surveys, including a date selection for office move-in.

Hi, sis & bro

I am okay....was happily enjoying myself at Universal Studio on last Saturday, right after the electrician left!

What happened when the electrician came to replace the faulty remote control device last Saturday:

The electrician seen here dismantling the wires attached to the faulty device:

sqx9_043_uc4it.jpg

You can see the background with light patches against the blue wall? Already 3 months but I dare not even ask the painter/plasterer to repaint after they concealed the gaps, due to presence of #5 Yellow Star in my room!!

rxy9_76d_uc4it.jpg

The electrician bought 2 sets of the same brand new remote control devices (brand is Beamish). However, once he assembled it, it failed one by one!! The lights just cannot switched ON!!

sqx9_6e6_uc4it.jpg

Left with no choice, the electrician has to go out and buy another new one!!

Finally, this 3rd set works....and it happened to be the same brand as the existing faulty one (brand is Massive)!!

sqx9_f48_uc4it.jpg

The electrician said he can't believe it that a simple device takes him 3 times the efforts (ofcourse 3x $$$ which he didn't say it out!! He didn't charge me a single cent as it is still under his warranty!!) to get a simple device replaced, and this is the first time in his career as electrician that he came across this!!!

Ofcourse I know the reason but keep quiet!!

Mae29 how is was the experience on that group buy? everything smooth going?

Hi, dr.tran

I only have positive feedback and would highly recommend their service. I remembered we made a small deposit for our purchases and when the items arrived, the sales person helped to arrange transportation for me at a reasonable fee!!

Are you ordering through the same company?

That's so simple & easy to make Ang Pow $$, but I spent 3-4 Saturdays for site measurements & surveys, including a date selection for office move-in.

This is the office of one of my good friend which I helped to audit.

Look at the entrance to the office unit which has a beam cutting through width of main door. Previous owners had closed one-third of the door (right side) and used only two-third opening (left side).

grq5_02a_uc4it.jpg

Worst of all, immediately facing the front entrance is the spiral staircase to basement carpark and store-room!! You can see the picture of glass enclosure which I suggested to block Qi from rushing downwards:

j8e0_7eb_uc4it.jpg

On the right side of door opening is some steps!!

grq5_4da_uc4it.jpg

To fully open up and tap the incoming Qi, I have to recommend the owner to tilt the side door!!

To be continued in next post.
