Home Loan Cash Rebate

Hi

Could someone enlighten me if there is a case of cash rebates of 0.3% or $2K for home loans taken by me from banks.

Heard from a friend there was, but checked with my banker whom i took up a HSBC home loan from that there wasn't.

Usually there is no cash rebate, even it has, it will be already marked up in the price itself

Such package existed before, recalled in 2005 when I didi booking, such were offered by UOB & DBS. Later, MAS came iin

Next, developers are giving "sweeteners"" like refri, furniture...vouchers, do not be overjoyed. When applyin for mortgage loan banker will ask you for these & affect the loan amount.

Developers/banks are like rats, MAS is the cat. Run, chase, hide, srtike....innovative & patterns liao liao.

Guess as much, anyway friend took his loan back in 2005.

But saw in HSBC website they have $10K cask rebate for re-financing
