Hi Wmayeo,

your house is lovely and your contractors seem pretty responsible. Will you share their contacts with me? Many thanks!

Your kichen looks bright and nice.

Noticed you didn't do any top cabinets above the sink and hob side. How did they connect to the power point for hood to work? Please share pics when hood is installed and kichen is completed. Tnx.

Thanks! Yes you are observant! :good:

Actually we opt out the hood because we don't intend to cook heavily.

We are using induction hob. no gas pipes routed in the kitchen.

I see....was wondering what magic touch yr contractor had to hide the wires. Simple solution is no hood \o/

I intend to get Induction hob too. What's the brand and model of your chosen one?

We are using Tecno TIH280D, purchased from Heritage.

Good thing about such induction hob, I can unplug from the power socket and move it to my dining table for steamboat! :)

I intend to buy this as well! Now they have promo....comes with slim hood free.

Your wardrobe internal is laminate or pvc? From the 2 contractors I asked, laminate I have to top up 50% extra. Did yr contractor charge you extra for this?

I can't remember how much they charge per feet if we top up internal white PVC to the coloured type.

What 50% more?! :unsure::o

Actually it was part of the deal since contractor J & E didn't allow me to bargain down, so they offered to us free upgrade to internal (inside drawer/cabinet) coloured PVC for all carpentry. :thumbs up:

They made us happy! :yeah:

Shelvings for Bomb Shelter

We ask Contractor E to provide shelving contact. He recommend us to Kay Shelvings.

We are considering between metal frame with plywood type and boltless fully metal ones. I read somewhere that the plywood type may grow mould. If the area is moist, yes likely it can grow some mould.

So we decided to use boltless fully metal ones. It's 122cm wide 46cm deep 183cm high. His workers installed two racks, took 30min to finish this job. Speedy Gonzales! Fast come & go!! :sport-smiley-003:
