Renovation Journal (Daily) - Day 18

Today was suppose to the installation for the fiber termination point by Net Link Trust requested by Starhub and thus My ID only arrange for the additional tiles that are required for the flat and no other work, so as to facilitate the NLT people to do their job more conveniently.

However, some human error and assumption by NLT and SH, they change the order to a service activation and not installation... Hai.... But nevertheless, after making a lot a calls and even personally went down to SH on the next day, they agreed to fix the installation 4 days later. It will be a big issue if I cannot install the fiber termination point as this will cause the entire renovation project to come to an haul. Faint....

i brought my wc at somewhere in balastier, recommended by my ID. the WC only cost me about $650 as compared to the normal one which normally cost about 200-400 depends on the type. The one I got is the attached from the back of the WC (p-trap type) instead the normal type which connect downwards (s-trap type). Its a full standing one cause I don't like the suspend type as after some times, i think it will become loose. Dont need to go for those above 1k, have cheaper alternative :)

The piping wont have issue if the ID or contractor doing it is good. Even for HIP upgrading program, they also outsource to external contractor to change the piping, its all boil down to luck and chance. Hope that everything will be good after the renovation :)

thanks ahyong81! any pics to share on the WC? thanks alot! i did go to balestier too.. not sure if we are talking about the samething.. hehe
