Renovation Journal (Daily) - Day 31



Common/Study room screed completed, My ID told me it need to rest in for at least 5 days before the HERF flooring can be placed. At the mean time after all the room complete screeding, then they will commence painting while waiting for the 5 days period. The Entire living room floor tiles and skirting also laid except the grouting :)

Renovation Journal (Daily) - Day 32



Master Bathroom bottom wall built and preparing for tiles placement maybe tomorrow. (This is how the replacement of the WC design)

Kitchen minor area wall tiles near the windows top and bottom part also placed.

Today Went down to see the living room tiles, then saw that there is one particular tiles which stand out from the rest. Only one which looks grey. I have asked the tiler to change it. And they are doing the grouting for the living room. Its very obvious right?

Whole living and dining area is white tiles except this particular one which looks grayish.......

The grey tiles really stand out, good that you go check very frequently so can rectify the problem fast.

So your MBR bath you are using built in WC?

Lol, the one special tile is from the same batch/packaging. Manufacturer defect i think.

Renovation Journal (Daily) - Day 33

Today, the living room special tile has been replaced :)

Now it looks the same throughout the whole house :)

The Master bedroom and walk in wardrobe are screed and master toilet tiles are up as well. Still got patching works to be continue :)

Btw there is a hammer left near the water drainage area in the master bathroom.. I think Thor came to use the toilet and forgot to take it away :) haha

Renovation Journal (Daily) - Day 34

The kitchen area tiles is all up and patched. Washing of the kitchen in preparation of kitchen carpentry next week.

Its a saturday, so no reno works was done, but i still include it as a reno day because its kitchen washing day :)

Yours is moving real fast!! Lol. I think all my kakis leave Renotalk already my carpentry also haven't come... :P

Can't wait to see more!

Wont be leaving renotalk so fast de. Lol, after move in still got a lot to do. At least for another 6 months :)
