Hi no probs my pleasure to share my experience.. Initially wen we opened up our house n saw it for e first time a lot of things seemed very small n cramped for us too but surprisingly as e carpentry n works started to materialise noticed tat it opened up n we had more space den we had initially judged..maybe we r jus too skeptical bout houses being so small nowadays, cramped n impossible etc tat we kinda overlook e actual space..maybe we jus gotta accept n plan our spaces n eventually we will create a nice home which we grow to love day by day.. 😍

Some updates from me! Realise I usually post in the beginning of the week and then go MIA... haha... weekends always see us doing something or buying something for the house, that's why. We checked out Mega Discount Store at KLP on Saturday, and managed to finalise some items for our house because the pricing was really good after comparing with GAB and Parisilk. After all the research, and weighing out what we need... we have decided on these items. 1. Washer - frontload Bosch WAS-28448SG (Made in Germany, slightly high-end model but because we are such clean freaks we foresee that we need a sturdy and reliable washer more than anything else in the kitchen. So hence, budget increased and washer decided). Mega managed to match the price we saw from outside so we were super happy about it! 2. Dryer - since we got a Bosch washer, it then makes sense to get a Bosch dryer so that the stack-up look is complete. we got a 7kg vented dryer from Bosch. Excited about this stacked up look. Yippee! 3. Fridge - Hubby and I researched and decided that we should just get a basic fridge with a trustworthy brand. Hence we decided on a Mitsubishi Electric 2-door stainless steel fridge MR-F62E (traditional top freezer). We don't foresee ourselves doing heavy cooking anytime soon so this fridge should be more than big enough for us. 4. hob - Bosch PBD7331SG, black tempered glass 3 burner hob. I'm so happy to get a good pricing from Mega again for a Bosch product. And I've been eyeing this hob for the longest time... yayyy! Judging from the above, hubby and I are fans of German-made products... hahaha. Many Bosch items in our home next time, including a Bosch vacuum cleaner which we already have now. Lol. We haven't got the key collection date yet... sian... but other people from our block (same floor somemore) will be collecting their keys on 15th Apr. I reckon ours will be in the next 2 weeks or so. Very exciting! Hubby and I managed to sneak into our BTO project and for the first time saw our unit front-door. It was such a surreal feeling to see our very own place... even though it was just the front door. The unit was locked so obviously we couldn't see anything else besides the front door... and maybe the service yard. Hahaha. Happy to say that our block is close walking distance to the carpark, and our unit is not far from the elevator. Our rooms and service yard also do not face neighbouring blocks directly which helps in the privacy of our unit. Yippee yayy, so far so good, loving everything we see (from the outside at least).

Getting really excited! 3 more days to go! Meanwhile, have been doing some planning about what I need to buy and where I will be buying.. Thinking of buying my bathroom + kitchen accessories from Royal Fanco. Read many good feedback / review online. Willing also be calling sforshor's LED contact for my down lights + checking out an AMK neighbourhood store highly raved by my neighbours. Bathroom Accessories 2x towel holder 2x toilet paper holder 2x bidget Sink (not sure 1 or 2, see what HDB provides first) WC (not sure 1 or 2, see what HDB provides first) Not getting for bathroom Mirrors and vanity cabinet (Included in my reno work) Using solid surface as corner racks in both toilets as shared by Harriette (Must check with ID) Not changing the showers Kitchen Accessories 1x undermount sink 1x mixer Already purchased Hood - EF CH9202 Hob - Brandt TG1273B Oven - Bosch HBN331E2J Fridge - Samsung RT35FDACDSL Lightings 13x downlight for living room, dining area + passageway 3x LED lights for bedrooms 2x LED lights for toilets 1x LED light for kitchen 1x LED light for service yard 1x LED lights for bomb shelter Miscellaneous 1x ceiling fan (aiming for fanco aroma) 1x safe (need recommendation!) 1x wine chiller (need recommendation!) Decided not to get dining lights in the end as I am contemplating getting the "spaceman" table introduced by Ning Ning. If that's the case, my dining table will be moved around when I invite people over. The dining light will look very out of place once the table is shifted around. Have I missed out anything that is essential for reno for kitchen, toilets, ceiling fan and lights? Or any other recommendations to buy the items?

This is the final result! On a "closer" look: ">http:// On a "farther" look ">http://> And the winner is: Daiso Sponge! As the Daiso sponge is made of melamine, do remember to wear a pair of rubber gloves when using it. As for the stain remover cleaner, I realised that it can clean the gaps between tiles very well. I don't need to exert any strength in cleaning the grout at all!
