  1. WAH everything is happening at super speed for you!
  2. I love the lights! and the two doors look very classy. mm box up the heater? Will it cause any problems? I was just wondering cos my old place there is a false ceiling concealing the water heater... but my storage heater... spoilt easily and leaked causing the ceiling to warp. *sigh* thankfully I'm out of my old place now. But think Joven is quite a reputable brand right? shouldn't have problems?
  3. Eh the kind that starscream mentioned.. I saw those at a gift shop in Suntec. The shop is on the second floor. But the lamps are rather small and brightly coloured... They cost less than $30 I think.
  4. The wardrobes we got from S&C. They delivered the items and we were quite satisfied with most. After setting the items up, I tested my sliding wardrobe and there was some sound. I told the deliveryman and he rectified it on the spot. No problems with it now. Only 3 items had more major problems... One was the dresser, which had a piece of wood on top missing. We asked for it to be installed and they said they would come *soon*..... The second is the TV console which had one mirror glass broken. The delivery man took it back immediately and it would be delivered tomorrow. The third is the coffee table which will only be delivered next week as the shipment is delayed. Other than that I guess I'm quite satisfied.

  10. not really settled down yet. Sigh. The workmen came on Tuesday and did some work... was suppose to be the last bit. But after we cleaned up we realised that the grouting in the kitchen was in three colours! My contractor promised he would come tonight to take a look himself. Hi Charemme! I'll pm you tonight with the contacts k? Was super sick yesterday and in bed all day. Same for the people who PMed me. I was very sick and still sick at the moment. Please give me some time to reply your PM.
  11. Wah love your master toilet le... but when your main door going to change??? the old door spoiling the picture. hehehhe
  12. ya finally can come online and lurk... mm As long as ID knows exactly what you guys want ba. Think their software a bit limited sometimes some things cannot show.
  13. Just saw the 3D pictures... love the layout! Think your ID forgot the lights in the wet kitchen though. super dark. Think sometimes the items (that we buy) may not appear accurate in 3D. As long as the tiles, walls and layout is right?
  14. Wah the chair is VERY nice... I also love!!
  15. haha I know how you all feel. My first meal in the house was KFC.. was very memorable also. Having keys is such an exciting thing...
  16. ya so I soak my hands and feet into antiseptic then apply medication. horrible situation. You should wear a mask when packing...
  17. mmm tiling was pretty good but the grouting still needs to be done BUT that is partly our fault because we really rushed him. So he's coming back to do it on Tuesday... Carpentry is ok. My altar piece which is rounded is not done as well as the normal stuff (kitchen cabinets and shoe cabinet) but satisfactory... moreover the altar was free. Now that I have received my VO, I'm happy to say that Ah Soon really kept to his word and charged only for the stuff he said he had to charge for. Some of the stuff he did FOC for me... Covering/smoothing of edges and painting of 2 windows and 2 vents Bamboo pole holder Installation of bathroom accessories Main Door Bathroom Mirrors Tiling of window ledge in MBR Topup of foyer tiles was absorbed Boxing up of pipe in balcony Plastering of balcony etc etc etc... Fixing of 5-6 piece of stuff from Ikea.
  18. Just want to correct myself... string curtain was $32 for the one with beads. We bought another without for $30.
  19. aiyoh... cos we too many people, want to find a suitable moving date for all our Bazi not easy. Before CNY, we only had 2 choices so we went with 29th Dec. Moreover my block leave ended on 30th Dec so I wanted to help my parents move before my block leave ended. So we had to rush our contractor to give us the house in a move-in-able condition... and deal with the mess. The dust really created problems for me as I have very very sensitive skin and my foot actually cracked and bled the first few days.... *sigh* But it's still nice to spend new year in a new house. WHOA. that's terrible.................... You must post your story in a new thread so more people will look out for this....
  20. whahaha so familiar. too bad I cannot say the same to my own parents... haiz... Wah "own people" pricing sounds the best!! But I always find it hard to ask for things from people if we are too familiar with them... I'm not sure how to say... BUT seems like he's ready to give you the best price and if you've done your HW I'm sure things will go fine! Lucky you!
  21. Wah. that's exciting le. Show more photos soon!!
