Really a bit upsetting.. But well we tot of a new design for the Living room feature wall so I called Ah Wei up to see if that can be done.. Sounds feasible.. So will wait for him to get back to us again.. I rather I know the consequences than blaming him for not informing me in the future.. I must say Ah Wei is really quite good.. He can share valuable advice with us.. For the carpentry, it's just simple 2D drawings with the cabinet/wardrobe layout and measurements drawn to scale.. Not those 3D kind this time round.. But seems like it's good for him.. I'm not doing kitchen.. so easier to draw for Smartie..

Finally met the painters today.. Three malay guys.. The head is pretty meticulous in painting and remove the stains off.. Though I can still find a bit of paint here and there on the doors and frames.. hee.. Today, mainly the living room is almost done.. They said they should be able to finish on Monday.. So looks like Monday will have the fresh coat of paint for the entire house.. I must make an effort to go down during lunch on Monday liao.. Met Uncle Soon today, but he didn't have much time to entertain me as usual.. He asks me to direct all my questions to Joseph.. Only big problem then let him know.. Long time no see ya.. Yup.. A very fruitful meeting indeed.. It's definitely interesting.. With Ah Wei, I can feel more security in my carpentry..

Today finally met up with Ah Wei, the carpenter.. He's younger than what I tot.. hee.. Anyway, I think he's very happy to meet us.. haha.. Because he don't really need to draw anything for us to see.. Smartie had drew everything for him.. haha.. And we have also passed our laminate choices to him.. Also even chose the MBR wardrobe insides + the seatie's cushion colour.. So he can start work tomorrow liao.. Hopefully, if as planned, I should see the carpentry in my house for installation by 16-Jun.. But two pretty sad news.. 1) My dream of full flushed mirrored door for the MBR wardrobe is gone.. Ah Wei said that full flushed mirrored door is very easily broken because there isn't much support.. So I add two metal strips, one on top and one towards the bottom to better support the mirror.. 2) My feature wall design needs slight change because the partition wall behind might not have sufficient support for my ideal feature wall.. Now I start to wonder if the suggested design looks nice or not.. hmmm... For painting, there are painting job being done to the ceiling.. But we dun know who's the painter till now as we never have the chance to meet them yet.. They are so mysterious to us.. hee.. The project of mending tiles is also completed.. But there are some grouting not done.. So the tiler uncle needs to come back again bah...

*Ouch* Stop banging lah.. Sama Sama.. Ours might hit 100K at the rate I'm looking at it..

I got 1 lamitek catalogue from Jason.. After some pestering, I got another 2, EDL and Meiko.. Then I loaned Seng Lee from Ivy.. So I had four... Lamitek and Seng Lee are the better ones I think..
