hi andy, just a piece of advice. try to observe how detailed, note-taking & responsible yr potential id is. & whether they used regular subcontractors. best if u could get feedbacks from homeowners whose projects yr id has undertaken & not those undertaken by their colleagues.

went down to sansei singapura recently to source for accessories. saw a staff helpg a customer whose mixer had been repaired by them. saw the before n after & was pretty impressed with the product. think it cost less than $50 but best to check with them.

hi greenfish, have u managed to resolve issues with yr ID. my id is not famous yet i also experienced same issues as u were having. seriously wonder whether can we move on our target date. seems like payg $ yet ended up having to spoon-fed n monitor own reno. one thing for sure, will not recommend frens to use this ID & company.

tks for the link, for the made-in-switzerland, it cost $1.5k with 2yrs warranty. for taiwan $1k with 1 yr warranty, (if i dont remember wrongly). $1.5k not a paltry sum for especially if we are talking abt iron. still considering. will consider proposing to the sales mgr as i am keen to try it.

hv u managed to find out the price? they hv 2 models, the elna is more xpensive than the other which is made in taiwan. was told that they offer instalment plan but not sure worth to pay for it. now thinkg hard. wanted to ask if they hv a trial set where potential customers can pay a token amt & try for 1 wk cos their product is really not cheap.

why don't you call the agent & ask them to quote u for the replacement? my previous hob was ariston & the replacement/workmanship less than 100. it shd be cheaper than replacin a totally new set.

For those going to BW, do call & make apptment as they r closed for renov. Only open if prior apptments been made. Learnt abt it after makg a futile trip down 3wks ago. Was told to call them. However, realised that their svc is Called a few times to make apptment but no one answer the phone. Called them on Sun at 12noon & still no one picks up the call. Decided to stop by since going down to Balestier. Reached there & saw 1 staff seated inside. Knocked on the door & made some queries thru the gap in the glass side door. All she did was shouted "closed" & turned back to her PC even though all my queries wasn't answered. I continued to knock & asked her some qtns & she displayed an extremely annoyed look. Luckily, her colleague had some decency to walk nearer & I managed to ask whether there was alternative no(s) to call & make apptments since no one seems to be picking up the calls on wkdays & wkends. I was told there isn't. But, based on the encounters that I had, I hv serious doubts giving my biz to them.

i'm starting before, planning to move during 7th mth. consulted my FS & he said okay. no such things as inauspicious day during 7th mth. but after meetg up with my aircon installer, seems like we hv to delay the move. btw, i've checked with some contractors, they said 7th mth they also worked. if not, those FT who are workg in the construction coys also OFF for 1mth meh??? like that sure alot of coys will go bust cos cannot complete in time hehehe

hv not engaged any contractor yet but i wld suggest u request to see samples of contractor's work
