no problem! At any one instance, I have about 15 tabs monitoring the few threads in mylot on my browser. heh heh... yarh... I agree... food is really hard to get around here... especially good food. In my short one year here, I have tried almost every coffeeshop there is available in Seng Kang... nothing good to look forward to leh. Unlike my mum's old estate, stay there so many years, I still got a few stalls I never try before, cos the food at the other stalls are so good, there is little need to find new ones to satisfy the palate ha ha... I know what you mean... there are two units in my block now doing hacking works... when I am on leave, it is a real headache... at the moment, it is better to be at work than to take leave and rest at home due to the noise. btw, which block you at? really? I know avatar? who? who? tell me leh. ha ha... the coffeeshop is at blk 308 lah... long queue all the time. that nice ah? I tried it twice, find it so-so only leh yarh... play proper music still can tahan there is this one uncle who likes to sing china mountain songs (shan ge) every day... without fail, like clock work, around 3 all the way till dinner time, he will sure croak the same song over and over again. Like some broken record... play so loud, even my unit at the next block can hear his croaks! And I can see him croaking from my living room... **** irritating! but bo pian lah... on the TV a bit louder can still drown his singing out, so still bearable.

keep the place dry loh... air it as much as possible... if can, wash every week loh wedding finally done and over... pictures ah? Me still waiting for the pics also... **** photographer is very very slow *grumble*

aiyah... they are out to make a statement here... how can they stop when the other two ISP already acceded to their demands of releasing the names of the users? If they stop at PacNet, sure got a lot of repercussions from the other two ISPs. So they have to keep going at PacNet till the judge rule in their favor. I really hope PacNet will not give up due to legal cost and give in to their demands. Now is mostly a battle of endurance... see whose pocket can out last the other in terms of legal costing *cross fingers*

We are all home owners here... and we all started out much like yourself --> Lost after getting keys So every bit of information helps. Especially from those who have got thru the experiences before. It is good that the people here are very generous on their information sharing, as such we get to learn from each other so that we do not commit the same mistakes that other may have committed before. I am grateful for this site, cos I managed to get lots of tips on what to look out for and what to avoid during my own renovation. So when my home was done, I still stay active so that I can do likewise for the other members, esp newbies, who come here to seek advise. It is a mutual thing. And the friends I make here is really a lot... in fact, we still keep in touch with each other occasionally. Heh heh... So all the best to your renovations. Post some nice pics for all to see yah!

tile is usually in small pieces, thinner in term of thickness... as these are mainly used for laying on floors. Typical sizes would come in 300x300, 600x600, 800x800 or 300x600(i think...need to confirm with tile supplier) Slab is usually used for kitchen tops, counter tops or table tops. Typical sizes are 600x2400. Thicker than the tiles. Comes with optional edges... eg bull nose, straight edge... etc

then you should consider the Slumberland series or the Dr America series. They are really firm, and they come in King Sizes as well.
