hi marsh i also wan! ya, can use normal butter cookie, as long as don't puff up too much can liao. can try this: 200g butter 110g icing pinch of salt 1egg 300g flour 1/2 tsp baking p cream butter/sugar/salt add egg, cream till smooth add flour/bake p till well blended wrap dough in cling film, fridge for about 1/2 hour roll thinly, cut, bake 170 till golden brown, about 20min depending on thickness n size

mine is the other way - we die die want black granite, so had to choose laminate colours that will go with that, but luckily most colours go well with that granite. Our prob was more matching the top and bottom, plus the orange in the centre

i think not really those black dust from fan .. mine more the problem with the floor area at the corners where curtains gather - to sweep that area, need to pull curtains up, sometmes lazy, then dust will accumulate. that day just saw a spider there ... bopian, now everytime must flick the curtains

I still yet to post many reviews, but after so many months, alot of things are a blur now, so I conveniently excused myself from doing that! yup, yup, you have good memory, neo. we have since moved in too, for half a yr now! haha, I know what you mean about doubling the housework, coming from a EA before this. So in a way, though I missed the big space, I am thankful for the reduced load. But then again, my house is never totally spick and span - just livable lah

And yes, I do make everythng from scratch, so I have full control over the colour, size, pose etc Agree with you absolutely about the personal touch - I remembered when I first started out baking years back, and did a buttercream-piped design cake for my then 4-yr old daughter, she was so thrilled! And now, 10 yrs down the road, she is still talking about that cake fondly ... though when I look at the photo now, I thought it was the most ugly cake !

servos is the one run by electrical right? just need to push and the drawer will spring open. though i have blum now, if say i need to return plates to drawer, I have to open drawer before I collect the plates from the rack. Or bring the plates near the drawer, put down the plates, open drawer, then keep the plates. But with servos, I can just hold the plates in hand, use butt or leg to push drawer, and keep - no hands!

May while you are there, walk down to shops like GR Link, Poh Seng and a few others in teh same stretch. They have loads of kitchen and toilet stuff at reasonable prices too also a shop across the road - i thnk it's called something chuan. jalan besar was one of our regular excursion places during our reno stage
