5RM to EA, nice. Your old house is going to be hard to beat. Are you still staying there? Any foto of your 'old' kitchen, MBR toilet? The 'old' reno experience is going to be put to good use for your new place.

Why SOR sudden jump so high? From 0.1% to 0.3+%; 300% increase over a month.

Pictures of toilet are not clear; over exposed or shaky hands. Can put up clear ones like your kitchen? The epoxy, base coat you mentioned are for painting ceramic tiles? Brands, please.

What Is The Standard Height Of Wardrobe For Condo...

Did yr carpenter give you an itemized quote? Otherwise very hard to tell if there are carrots. -
don48 send me a good write-up and I edited and put it up for sharing. don48 said: ====================================================================== Basically, for these kind of doors, it depends on how one uses it. And of course, the surrounding environment. For sliding door, it's a little more pricey than bi-fold and you must not have restricted space for the sliding track. Problems face after long usage are sliding problems, which occurs because user slam slide the door, or sliding track is exposed to water for a prolonged period and after a long time, debris form up and oiling is required. Yes logically toilet is wet, but as i said environment plays a part, location of your door, concealed shower area, clothes washing, etc. Bi-fold is economical and does not require additional space for sliding track. There are 2 kinds of bi-fold door. 1 commonly with track, and one, bottomless track. Of course the one with bottom track is cheaper and will face less problem in the long run, but it depends of what you are looking for. Some users do not like obstruction below. But if your unit faces strong wind, please use bottom track design. If your unit does not face lots of wind, and you are a 'gentle' user, both bi-fold or sliding will last you long enough.

Bifold doors and sliding doors. Share your experience on the reliability. Share your experience on the problems (like banging fingers/ toes). Share how much did you pay for it etc

Kindly help recommend a 'cheap and good' way to repair these cracked floor tiles. Does it cost very much to hack and replace the tiles? Roughly how much does it cost? Is there some 'glue'/ fillers in the hardware stores for DIY to mend cracked tiles? Any tiler expert can advise? Thanks.

The full length curtain is a very good idea; it makes the ceiling looks higher and the house more grand.

Already so stylish, still need to renovate?

Nice before and after photo. Good photography skill; clear, big, sharp. Well captioned.

I think what u were referring to is a chim process where they sandwich a layer of plastic between 2 glass. This type of glass panel is uncommon and surely more expensive. What I was referring to is just normal glass and stick heat rejection window film (plastic sheet) on it. This plastic sheet has special properties to reject heat.

Have the same problem. The gates are touching each other and have to lift the gate to open. And seems to be getting heavier every week. Think the iron gates are too heavy and after many years, they sag. Any solutions? Is aluminium gate cheaper than iron gate? Where/how to sell used iron gate as scrap metal?

I bet one picture in the mag will be your gold bar toilet, because gold just hit a new high.

Other than the 1st sentence, leechaorui gave sound advise. These young couples slurping up $1M condo have to be more prudent. The rosy situation now can deteoriate toward the end of the year. Unless two persons fully employed, else a $3 - $4K installment hanging over your head is very uncomfortable.

oh no! do we have to buy the magazine to see more pic?

Cut loss. Ask him to leave nicely, even if you lose some rental is ok, just make sure he goes, then look for a new tenant.
